No, actually I dont think that at all. For all the bad writing and anti-climactic moments CW has been quite solid IMO. Especially since im one of few who doesnt see the rampant mischaracterizations (exception Reed) that you guys all point out. And IC was fine, just lots of little things that couldve been done better.

I'm with him. Are there blatant flaws in CW? Of course. Am I still enjoying the hell out of it? Of course. Different writers write different characters characterized different. Wow, what a ****ty sentence.

CW isn't bad but does suffer from all the flaws that seem inherent in these events.

It has just always seemed, outside what the X-Men is supposed to be about. Leave the space stuff for those more suited for it. If anybody should be mainly Earth based, it's Mutants. I mean, that's where the majority of they're problems lie. You know, saving a world that both hates and fears them. All that jazz. Not saying that the stuff done sucked or anything. Phoenix saga, some of the Brood stuff. Good reads all around. I've just always felt that stuff should be reserved for, you know, your common Superhero books.

Most seem torn on this issue. I personally think some of the best X-stories come from their space adventures. The Brood Wars, Pheonix Saga, and others.

I personally am loving this story, and it's written well enough, even those not a fan of the space operas in comics would like it.

The story was quite enjoyable for me too, that is until they had Tony go so far as to hire villians to hunt down his friends and other heroes. How people can accept that as within his character is beyond me.

"You know, I have a friend who doesn't who thinks orange is the new red, when obviously it's the new yellow, so I'm going to hire Jeffrey Dahmer to hunt them down, and ruff 'em up a bit."

How can you agree with that. Tony is now a villian, hands down. And somehow, they'll have him fixed and all hero and nicey nice to Captain America by the time the movie comes out.

I HATE mis-characterization for the sake of a story.

Crap? I can't believe anyone can consider Civil War crap, especially when compared to the complete garbage that was Infinite Crisis.

Now, I'll agree that the Pro-Side isn't getting much of a shot here, but I actually believe it's starting to turn around, and Frontline will be the start of that. Mark my words: that impassioned speech is the beginning of something. I'm even betting that Speedball registers before this is all over.

I just find CW to be a little dull. More happens in one issue of Annihilation than has happened in CW in total... and the delays have killed any momentum the series had for me.

I say we rally support for Annihilation.

I've made my feelings known on every review for that series.

And IC was a much better written story than Civil War so far. The point of IC was that the heroes were working toward being the moral compass true heroes are supposed to be.t:

Civil War is trying to see how far they can pull certain characters from being the heroes they always have been.

Well the reason for that is, by episode 4 or 5, Apollo is skinny again.

Also, I think it'll be around the 5th or 6th episode that Lee slims down again. I remember watching a video blog about how he gets into the fat makeup, and he said something like they were filming the fourth episode at the time and Lee was finally trying to get his life in order and had located the gym on Galactica.
