Bought/Thought "Back from Vacation/Midterms suck" Edition Oct.25th

Its clear to me now, that within the events of Ms. marvel, Carol Danvers with Tony's help, will offer a deal to Julia Carpenter that will release her from jail and reunite her with her kid, plus allow her to move to Canada, but the catch is, she has to be part of Omega Flight. Makes sense?

It does, actually. Julia Carpenter was one of those WCA members who actually stuck with Stark throughout his Forceworks debacle, so he may be willing to cut her some slack. Or U.S. Agent could even demand her release.

Granted, if the feds were willing to cut Speedball a deal after Stamford if he'd only accepted responsibility and registered fully, then I doubt they'd not offer a simular, sweeter deal to Carpenter.

I wonder what'll become of The Shroud?

Better than death, but it still sucks. He was practically the reason I bothered for the MS. MARVEL tie-in. He's one of my favorite D-Listers.

Maybe theyll cut him a similar deal and he'll be on one of those 50 state initiative teams. Assuming that goes through.

The problem is that would kill his "gimmick" which was the only thing that kept him sort of unique, aside for being a rather standard copy of The Shadow with a costume of Moon Knight's painted black/blue. He posed as a villian in order to undermine criminal networks from within. Granted, after a whole one would assume the crooks would catch on and he'd have to change identities, but that never happened. He's like a superhero version of DONNIE BRASCO or HEAT or something. The issue was that when he was created, you probably couldn't base a whole series on that premise, and nowadays when you could, no one is interested at Marvel. Or has the brains/balls to pull it off.

Granted, the feds could have him keep the undercover schtick, just in working with them officially instead of unofficially. But that won't happen. It makes too much sense.
