^^ hmm no numbers Carp? ......... hmm.... truly sad it is.
And still no news on FF3, maybe they are waiting for the DVD's performance.
Tranformers just grabbed a 2009 date, ignoring any strike talk.
Fox is running a lot of DVD ads it seems, from what I heard, personally I have not seen any.
Yeah i've seen it once also.I've seen it once here....

FF #'s thru the 26th. Overseas #'s thru the 24th :
Domestic: $131,835,060 47.2%+ Foreign: $147,539,119 52.8%= Worldwide: $279,374,179
Looks like it will fall well short of 300 Million worldwide.I was wrong with estimation of the final total. We're at 281+ right now. It's gonna struggle over 285. Still that's enough for a profit before DVD sales.

I predict we are going to see some high DVD sales. I think the overcrowded summer along with bad planning on Fox part of releasing competing films from it's own studio within 10 days of each other, spelled out a disaster for this film financially.
FF should be Holiday film no doubt. Marvel hasn't ever released a film in December right? Elektra was January, Daredevil & GR were February, and Blade Trinity was October I think. Currently the DVD is at #8 right behind Transformers, and it's been the #1 Blue Ray title for a couple weeks.
So everyone thinks it should be the holidays, Christmas or thanksgiving, well ok. Well tomorrow is the DVD debut, lets hope it does really well.
Pray is a better four letter word IMO......![]()
