Thank you for confirming my suspecions. They are filming something. Though I see nothing offical out of Vancouver yet. I still say sometime next month the'll be kicking it.

All I know for sure is Jessica will be filming in Vancouver in August. Anything beyond that is pure speculation and rumor nothing more.

They already started shooting "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix" (opens July 13, 2007) and Transformers (opens July 4th) but no word of the dates when they'll start shooting the next Fantastic Four movie, or if the script is ready.
Not a good sign.

BTW i doubt they're filming anything at the moment. News flies fast nowadays and i think if FF was doing any sort of second unit filming we'd know about it.

Mabey confirm was a bit hasty, but doesn't change my opinion that they will begin filliming something soon.

I was in downtown vancouver yesterday, i am a 100% sure they have started filming, it was all over the radio because part of vancouver was shut down.

Knew they'd start in June. Heard it here 1st. Everyone else said August. Even though they prob. are not filming with the actors.

Got to start somewhere. As long as their doing something now, that will be less they have to shoot, when they start shooting with the actors.

show some sources of this information and people might begin to see it as fact....but right now its just heresay, and around here....heresay doesn't go very far...well sometimes it goes far enough to get people freaked....and then pissed when it turns out to be bogus information....which I believe we have already had from a few....

Most movies shoot that second unit stuff while the director shoots the prinicpal at the same time though,
it may not make a difference i;m just saying is all

i don't know how to prove it, i'll look around for some proof, but i am not lying, as a true FF fan i would only post acurate info, not bogus stuff. THe only reason i know is because i was downtown vancouver yesterday and i heard people talikng about it at HMV (the old virgin records) and then i heard about it on radio.

All I'm saying is....don't be surprised if people don't believe you.....without sources, its pretty tough to believe information like that around here....

I'm sure it's not with the actors. If anything it is outside set shooting. And since there is no Iron Man board. Filming will begin on Iron Man Jan. 07 in vancover, and this is the suit there thinking of going with. And it's due for release summer 08.

I think someone on this board scared my *extras* source away....lol.....I can't get in touch with her, but I'll keep trying......

I have no idea what the other actors are doing at the moment, not sure of Michael's "Shield" shooting.......from what we are hearing right now, Jessica is shooting another movie in July, and from what she said in an MTV interview last week they are indeed starting in August as far as F4....other than that I have no idea.....I wish I did....

I will say this......once F4 stopped shooting, many of the people moved immediately to X-men 3.....maybe vice versa happened.....I just don't know....

That's very interesting, Dynasty. It could be possible pre-production shots. Which part of downtown was closed?

Are you sure though that it was for filming because there's a whole bunch of road construction going on right now. They're replacing the old water main along Dunsmuir from Beatty to Burrard till the end of June. The only road closure for special events is for Annual Chinatown Night Market.
If they're filming, aren't they required to send neighborhood notification letters 2 days ahead and special parking permits 3 days ahead? Besides the Teamsters 155 and BC Film Commission List still has FF2 down for Aug. 15 to Dec. 1.

I know for a fact that F4 has not done any filiming of any kind in Vancouver yet. There has been 8 other feature films being filmed in Vanocuver the last 3-4 months, so ppl most likely confussed that with F4.

Jessica Alba is confirmed to arrive in Vancouver on July 15th, but it'll be to film Good Luck Chuck, which will overlap with filming of F4, so for about a month, she'll be filming 2 movies at the same time.
