Wow, with drops this small as the week goes on it'll be poised for a pretty damn good third weekend. Look for Transformers to cross $250 million with Friday's B.O. numbers.

I can watch Spider-man 1 more than Spider-man 2. But the rules doesn't always apply.

I disagree on watching origin stories over and over. I'd say second chapters are the best once you get the origin out of the way and can really start doing interesting things with the characters because they've already been established, plus you can up the action.

I like Spiderman 1 more than Spiderman 2.
I like X-Men 2 more than X-Men 1.
I like Bourne Identity more than Bourne Supremacy.
I like Fantastic Four ROTSS more than FF1.
I like Predator 1 more than 2.


I could keep going, but there doesn't seem to be a rhyme or reason to which movie in a franchise I like more.

I think this movie is like the new Spider-Man or Pirates when it comes to boxoffice...it kinda came out of nowhere. It could have been a huge failure but manged to please it's audience I guess, and have legs.

Fantasy Mogul's Steve Mason is projecting Transformers to do $22.5 million this weekend, which would represent a 39.9% drop from last weekend. If these numbers turn out to be accurate, Transformers will have approximately $265 million after Sunday...

Something of interest, Transformers outperformed most analysts expectations in BOTH of it's first two weekends...

you will be wrong 99.99% ..... the question is can it beat SP3 for the nr.1 domestically....300 is a lock since last weekend and the weekdays legs only confirm it.
