A full year after it was initially floated as a hot fest prospect, Terrence Malick's "The Tree of Life" is set to make its world premiere in May at the Cannes Film Festival.
It's still unclear whether the Fox Searchlight drama starring Brad Pitt and Sean Penn will play in or out of competition, a decision that likely will not be made until closer to April 14, when fest topper Thierry Fremaux announces the full official selection lineup.

Note the DINOSAUR!!! Two boxes down from the title! THIS IS THE GREATEST DAY IN A WHILE.
Rez, is that you?!
I do love my dinosaurs.
No.
And while we're at it, I quite liked In Aggression, but I'd never tell you at Dan's. Although I do prefer Kevin Bacon in Death Sentence.
...It's Kevin Bacon.
Trapped, Hollow Man, and Death Sentence are all tasty Bacon. And really, I'm surprised. I loved Death Sentence, outside of that annoying, stupid, poorly acted cop.
ANYWAY TREE OF LIFE, GREAT LOOKING FILM.
So I've heard there is a separate version of this movie for IMAX, are the prehistoric scenes only in the IMAX version? if so I'd probably still go see it. This movie has my interest piqued hardcore, and that was before I heard any mention of dinosaurs. This has quickly become my most anticpated movie for the year.
Check this out! Fox Searchlight had just launched an interactive site.

There is a wheel with two sides, one The Fathers way and one The Mothers way. Each side has 10 very brief clips that you can watch.
