So, grain of salt but Carrie Coon might be up for the villain role. She's great and already has a good relationship with Sony. Still curious who this mystery female villain is.

I feel like that's a next movie idea after you would introduce a new Norman. Have Norman mentor Ned into being Hobgoblin or frame him for it.

We won't see Dafoe again. I am pretty sure of that. If I were a betting man, when we do see Norman, probably will be Colman Domingo in live action. I would also bet instead of doing GG instantly Norman, we would more likely get Seige/Dark Avengers style Norman.

If this female villain is indeed in the movie, wouldn't she have been cast by now? Sarah Snook, Nicole Kidman, Susan Sarandon, and now Carrie Coon have all been rumored at this point. Maybe all the rumors are wrong and Liza Colón-Zayas is playing the character.

Why are you assuming she hasn't been casted? The Snook, Kidman, and Sarandon rumors were from 3-4 months back. And this recent Carrie Coon rumor, they're acting as if she might have possibly been casted already.

Yea he's a dick and studio shill, no question there. But he does get things right more often than not. He also said he hadn't vetted it yet and didn't know if it was true. But not long after, another scooper backed it up. So we'll see.

Regardless, the point is whoever this person ends up being they're already been casted at this point.

Very true. And considering the caliber of actresses who have been rumored, whoever we get will probably be great. Or maybe Liza Colón-Zayas is playing this character. I'd love that too, she's great in The Bear.

I really did not like the Ghostbusters films she was in, yet I still managed to at least enjoy her performances in them. Safe to say I'm a fan.

Agreed. She's also great in The Leftovers, The Gilded Age and in His Three Daughters. Honesly when heard she was potentially casted my mind immediately went to Carolyn Trainer. But I feel the odds of them using Trainer is super small lol. I suppose she could also be Silver Sable as well.

Spidey is kinda unusual for a superhero because he has no really prominent female enemies. So unless Coon or whoever it is they've cast is playing a gender-swapped version of a male villain, the only other option I can think of is a far more villainous version of Silver Sable.
