Brooklyn Nine-Nine - Part 1

Haven't seen any of season 5 or 6 but caught the season 6 finale - it was great, loved the reappearance of the 99's nemesis - and as always the Wuntch v Holt back and forth is wonderful :

" What do you get out of this Madeline ? Revenge on Dorothy for killing your sister?"

I hope they don't let B99 go on too long and turn into another BBT, they should end it when it's still funny.

Yeah but honestly, was BBT ever as good as B99?

When I see Dean Winters in anything, I am waiting for him to play Mayhem in those All State commercials.

Pretty much Mayhem, The Vulture, Dennis Duffy from 30 Rock and Ryan O'Reilly from Oz are the same character in my mind, just in different professions. Not shade on Dean Winters there; he's good at that kind of character, it works for him.

Goodnight, Sweet Prince...

RIP Cheddar... he'll never be just some common bi***.

I need to jump back in... I think I stopped around 5/6. Whenever Jake went undercover and played mini golf, is the last thing I remember.

Was it undercover or was it witness protection? Witness protection was the start of Season 4.

Holt going from being way too subtle a drunk to throwing himself down the stairs had me rolling.

That was the part that made me actually crack up out loud.

Already felt like Jake's suspicion was going to blow up in his face, but it was all but confirmed the moment he didn't read the email and he just went off of finding Wunch in the search results.

Wario Cheats!!!

Always love seeing more of the Pontiac Bandit. Also-

You know, after the first 6 episodes of this season, I was honestly thinking the show might finally be slowing down. That it might finally not be what it use to be. And then Ding Dong happened, and ever since "Bagels!", the show has been as good as it has ever been.

I think NBC will allow the show to go out on their own terms. More often than not, NBC allows shows to go out on their own terms, especially sitcoms.

I've still been enjoying it after 7 years, but I recently came to the realization that I miss seeing Chelsea Perretti on the show since she hasn't made any appearances this season. The show could use a little more sass from Gina.

I also noticed that this week is the season finale. Was this season always meant to consist of 13 episodes or was it cut short due to the coronavirus?

I think it was supposed to only last 13 episodes.
