It'll definitely be interesting to see the show expand on Scully and Hitchcock's characters. So far they've been pretty one-note, so I look forward to seeing a bit more depth and personality from those two.

I also hope to see a lot more of The Vulture in season 2, he is my favorite character.

I think he's doing Vince Gilligan's new show so I can't imagine it'd be too much more, but then again I'm not sure how long that series is, or the network.

It will be shocking if Andy doesn't get an Emmy nomination, but sadly, he'll lose to Jim Parsons.

Then again he did beat out Parsons at the Golden Globes, so it could happen again.

He should man. He should.

Sheldon hasn't been funny for a while.

I think CBS ordered only 13 episodes so schedule wise it could work out but networks sometimes don't let their stars guest star on other network shows.

If it was a CBS comedy then it likely would've happened and depending on schedules maybe something can work since Battle Creek got an early order and might already be filming episodes instead of waiting for July.

it has potential. it was a very good pilot. .
Brooklyn Nine-Nine S1 9/10

Santiago could be the second funniest character on the show. but they wont let her. she has to be the love interest. god help us if it becomes Rose-Rachel.

They're moving this to Sunday nights next season with The Simpsons, Family Guy and Mulaney. Not really sure how I feel about that.

Same here Sawyer. I'd much rather it slide into the Tuesday slot after New Girl.

Okay, now I'm officially concerned for the show. Being sandwiched in a line-up of an over-the-hill Simpsons, over-the-hill Family Guy and THIS...

I'm really ****ing nervous. This is going to be a disaster.

Shouldnt we be more worried if this is on at the same time as The Walking Dead

It's on at 8:30, not 9.

WOW. That...was awful. Or at least, the 40 seconds of it I could stomach. Was that actually canned laughter during the standup sequence?

Fox just needs to ****ing stop with multicamera sitcoms. They're not CBS. It's not their thing anymore.

Two and a Half Men, Big Bang Theory, 2 Broke Girls... that type of show. Whereas this, Parks and Rec, 30 Rock, Arrested Development, those are single cam.

What the ****, this is moving to Sundays?

Just saw a promo for it during the ASG.

Yeah, apparently Fox thinks putting it with their over-the-hill animated shows, and the least funny new comedy I've ever seen a promo for, is a good idea.

I'm less than certain.

Yep. No more Animated Domination. It's between Simpsons and Family Guy, not a bad pair to be between all things considered.

This and Bob's Burgers are Fox's only good Sunday Shows.

I hate fox, I hate them so much.

The Closer's Kyra Sedgwick to Play Deputy Chief on Brooklyn Nine-Nine
By Matt Webb Mitovich

TV’s erstwhile Closer, Kyra Sedgwick, has reopened the door to small-screen endeavors, with a guest-starring arc — as a deputy police chief — on Fox’s cop comedy Brooklyn Nine-Nine.

As reported by Entertainment Weekly, Sedgwick will appear in two episodes as Deputy Chief Madeline Wuntch, a longtime foil of Emmy nominee Andre Braugher’s Captain Holt. As part of a precincts-wide evaluation, Wuncth aims to take down the 9-9.

The role marks Sedgwick’s first on-camera TV role since closing shop at The Closer in 2012. She currently exec-produces TNT’s Proof, starring Jennifer Beals and debuting next year.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine opens its sophomore run on Sept. 28, now airing Sundays at 8:30/7:30c. Sedgwick first appears in Episode 2.

re:the move to Sunday.

Be prepared for a handful of times when it starts up to a half hour later because of the NFL.
