nice articles, to bad though for the animated ww and gl films not getting sequels. That blows a bit. Hopefully future releases with said characters appearing in them will help for maybe new solo films of said characters to come out. Also its disapointing to hear that that possibly aquaman one isnt likely to be happening now too. Sucks they just dont seem to still have alot of faith in majority of the dc slate yet. So its probably just going to be batman, superman, jl dtvs for awhile.

To be honest, that's understandable. WB wants to make a profit on these after all and Aquaman wouldn't be very profitable.

Business wise it's smart but for the rest of us that wanna see some of these "lower" big time superheroes it sucks.

I think that's why were getting the 10-15 minute shorts with each release now.

As for those guys turning down an animated Batgirl movie. WTF!!!

Don't those marketing dopes at WB know that to sell a Bagirl movie is to put Batman's name on the cover.

Just call it "Batman: The Million Dollar Debute of Batgirl".

It's kinda shame. What will happen when we inevitable get a Flash movie or so? "Okay we did this one movie, but it didn't sell enough so we're sticking to Superman and Batman" I mean i'm not blaming Bruce Timm here or anything. He's the messenger and it's nice he's giving us the real news instead of trying to ********, but it makes one question what will happen with all the solo movies outside Batman and Superman.

I'm very glad JL movie sold extremely nicely, so we'll atleast keep receiving JL movies with Supes and Batman movies aswell.

who says flash isnt going to happen. i am sure he is on deck within the next two yrs. as for certain other characters it will probably just be shorts for them for now.

what they need to do is put out a Flash, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern or Aquaman solo animated series on television like they did with Bats, Supes and Justice League.

well i think gl series is on the books to happen in next yr or two. then as for flash/ww/aquaman its not likely they will do a solo series for any of them to at least a sucessful live action film came out first

good news about GL, bad about the rest though. Sucks because they each badly need to have a solo series on television, long overdue. Last Aquaman series was from the freaking 70's and I don't think Flash or WW have ever had one (animated that is)

oh totally i get the business reasons myself too, but as a fan even not knowing much on certain characters i would love to see them all have their fair shots.

^especially since most of my learning of these characters comes from tv/movies. Not enough money or time to purchase and read half the comics that exist out there. Movies/tv shows are just quicker and easier to digest/run through

totally, i am like that myself. i know dc guys more through cartoons/tv shows/movies and reading bios of certain characters online. Where as marvel i read more marvel and of course check out their cartoons/tv shows/films but i have a better grasp of marvel guys then dc guys.
