Days of Future Past Bryan Singer Directing X-Men: Days of Future Past - Part 2

As strange as it might seem, I think a mohawk for Storm is more plausible than the bob with the two long strips (which I'm a big fan of too, I think it might've been Madureira that came up with that?). I can picture Halle with the Mohawk but I can't picture her with the bob + long strips.

Weird I know.
Yeah the mohawk makes the most sense because of the dystopian backdrop of the film.

Ellen made it clear there were things she didn't like last time--mainly Ratner himself. :funny: I'm glad she's back though

I knew I liked her for some reason.

OMG! When did she say that :woot:

Well not specifically but in Inception press she mentioned working on a big film and said she didn't have the best experience. :funny: X3 was the only big film she's done so duh. Ratner loved her but I think he was gross and that put her off.

I just want to see SOME variation of Cyclops. Young or James Marsden. Preferably the latter.

But just set him up back in the franchise so that in the sequel he can take on a TRUE starring, leadership role.

By the time X-Men: Days of Future Past hits screens it will be the SEVENTH film in the X-Men franchise (wild, right?) and we will still not have seen a truly accurate and heroic depiction of Cyclops....

8th flick HAS to be the charm, right?

This is the way I see it: body not found=body not dead :cwink:

LMAO. That's hilarious.

so this is turning into a X4 with all these names returning and i have to say im surprised that after the things first class ignored from X3 that its happening like this tbh

in a way it makes me annoyed at ratner that he killed off cyclops so he is out of any more Xmen sequels :cmad:

with rogue, kitty and iceman back it seems we will find out what happened after X3 otherwise there would be no reason to bring these 3 back =/

im pretty shocked by this decision

Not even that. I just think the bob with the two strips just looks stupid in real life (I love it in the comics). I recognize I just said that but gave a pass to mohawk that's why I said my comment was weird! :oldrazz:

Speaking of comic (no pun intended) hair styles, how about Rogue having a slanted bob ala Rogue from AOA?

Not so much the skunk of the front but the diagonal cut of the sides? No? Okay sorry I asked :woot:

I just noticed something! Everytime singer has made a casting announcement via twitter he ends it with 'more to come' this time he didn't, I think this may be the last bic casting announcement. Looks like Halle, Famke and James won't be in this after all.

It seems a shame that the true X-Men veterans won't be in this movie.

And how are Stewart, McKellan, Jackman, Paquin and Ashmore not true veterans? What, they just only appeared in the last movie?

Remember too that twitter only affords you 140 characters per tweet. That last tweet from Bryan went up to 137 characters (no I didn't count it! LOL) so I wouldn't worry too much about lack of "More to come"

I never said that they weren't did I.

Besides I was talking about the original xmen. e.g veterans of the team. Storm. Cyclops and Jean were the first X-Men we met in the first film. Rogue and Icema don't become X-Men till the second film.

As for Patrick and Ian, I never said that they were not X-Men Veterans. Same as Anna and Shawn and Hugh.

That's a good point but I'm still apprehensive.

Now that I think about it, it is a shame that the original 3 X-men, Cyclops, Storm and Jean (for now at least) are not even part of what would arguably be the biggest film for this franchise.

Now I'm sad :(

Exactly how I feel.

If they're not in it then they def need a mention by wolverine or the professor.
"Storm, Jean and Cykes were great X-Men we have to make sure we continue their legacy" or something a bit better and less cheesy

I think Storm could be the final announcement. Maybe Fox wants to wait for a better momment to do it. just a possibility

I feel the same way, but I'm still holding out for Cyke and/or Storm.

Trust me noody wants Storm to be in it more than me but I'm just thinking. If they wanted a huge last announcement wouldn't Ellen Page have been a good one. I mean a lot of people didn't think she'd be in it let alone with Anna in it too (*cough* marvelrobbins *cough*)

is this the chance to get Angela Bassett as an older storm?!?!?!?

Announcing Shawn, Ellen, and Anna together makes sense, and hints that their love triangle may be continuing.

If Halle is returning she'll probably get a tweet to herself, or maybe with another X-Woman.

What I want to know is how Fox will be able to afford all these actors (and possibly more) and still have enough budget for everything else (including special effects). If this were the first film in the series, you probably wouldn't get this kind of cast together. You'd have a couple of big stars alongside less expensive ones.
