wolverine can be in it, doesn't mean he has to have a leading role, i mean look at cyclops in the last stand which they included him in the trailer and poster but he had perhaps 10 min of screen time, so its not beyond FOX to do so
and its not like every film wolverine has been in has been critically successful
EXACTLY.
I find curious how some people seem to think that Hugh being in the sequel would mean huge money for itself.
It that was the case, XO Wolverine would have had 500$ millions or more. But neither X3 or Wolverine had 500 millions. Both Ironman movies were bigger than X-men films, so by that info, Robert is a bigger star than Hugh right now.
A x-men sequel can be a big success without Hugh/Wolverine. It just has to be the right moment. A sequel to a good movie, mainly. With a bigger scope and bigger name for some of its actors.
First Class was the first movie with a whole new cast, so NO WAY it was gonna do more than X2, X3 or even Wolverine, the fourth movie with Hugh Jackman. So its totally unfair and kind of stupid to expect same numbers. Both by the studio and fans.
Days of future will be a success with or without Hugh. But I know some fans wont agree with that. Of course Hugh would mean good press, but a x-men sequel with both casts and long awaited SENTINELS will bring money, even in the case Hugh wasnt in it.
I accept Wolverine has a place on this sequel, only because of the storyarc, but he doesnt deserve the lead role on this movie, so I really hope Bryan creates a perfect balance this time. I really really hope so.
