Angel came into its own way before Spike ever set foot in LA for me. Like, back in the second half of season 2 where Angel starts compromising his morals and remakes himself into a vicious bastard to take down Darla and Dru.

When angel closes the door on Wolfram and Hart- 'I just can't seem to care'
One of The best moments on either show.

Season 4, maybe, but season 5 is widely regarded as one of the series' best. I personally thought it started a bit slow but picked up about 1/3rd of the way in and became awesome.

And, really, season 4 was also about half good. The bad half just overshadows the good so much because of how incredibly bad it was.

I love Darla's character.
Darla was awesome. Too bad she killed herself. Though i never was really big on the whole pregnant Darla thing and then...ugh... Connor. And i didnt like how they killed offed Cordy. I LOVED Cordelia, especially with Angel.

And does anyone read Buffy season 8 and/or Angel After the Fall? Im waiting for Angel to be realeased in Graphic Novel volumes like Buffy. I just finished reading No Future for you. I liked it, especially with Faith. Im glad they killed off Geinvine(sp?). Couldnt stand her, though she reminded me of Mia Keirshner looks wise :p

I never liked him, dunno why, just never did. I was glad they got ''rid'' of him and made him forget who he was before.
And this is a pretty random question but, do any of you have any Buffy/Angel figures? If so, which ones?
I have:
Graduation Day Buffy
Bad Girls Faith
Shells Illyria
Chosen Willow
Chosen Buffy
Lessons Dawn
You're Welcome Cordelia
Destiny Angel

Wow still no love for seasons 1 & 7 I know they're not the best but the general consensus would be that they're better than season 4 and even that's got a vote.

Oh and as for my top 5 villains, it's gotta be...

1. Glory
2. The Mayor
3. The Master
4. Darla
5. Warren

I know Warren my be an odd choice, but in Dead Things, Normal Again and Seeing Red he really proved himself to be a villain and he really was the first character to show there are evil humans just as there are demons, he really proved himself top be the encapsulation of the phrase "The evil that men do" more so in scene where he [BLACKOUT]murdered Katrina[/BLACKOUT] than any other.

And just to make it a triple post LOL, what was your favourite episodes of Buffy and Angel, mine where Tough Love / The Gift (joint favourites lol) and Untouched respectively.

On this front I tend to have the unorthodox choices. My favourite episode on the Angel side is "Dead End", in which Lindsey leaves (a favourite of mine that I forgot to mention). "Reprise" (rather than "Epiphany"), "No Fade Away" and the Wesley trio of episodes of the third season come very very close.

Buffy, though? "The Zeppo", no doubt about it. I always like certain moments from certain episodes (such as Giles killing Ben in "The Gift" or Giles kicking Ethan's ass at the end of "Halloween"), but there's very few I would consider good in its entirety. "The Zeppo" has numerous flaws, but they don't bother me a bit when I'm watching. "Band Candy" comes in close (gee, Giles fan much?).

I hate how cordelia's death has never been referenced in the comics. We don't see any emotion from the scoobies at all in canon!

And here is love for season one! So much better than 4 and 7, more fun than 5 and more entertaining than 6

best villains

1. Angelus
2. Spike/ Drusilla
3. The Mayor
4. Darla
5. The Master

best episodes- I have so many and they constantly change
always #1- Becoming
in no order
Surprise
Innocence
Amends
Earshot
Angel
The Gift
Chosen
Graduation Day
When she was Bad- I'm a sucker for emotional trauma!

best of angel
joint#1 You're Welcome- I cried like a baby
joint#1 I will Remember you
#3 No fade away
#4 Smile Time

All the others just merge into one for me

I can't find the wolfram and hart advert though, that was hysterical

yeah, but Angel didn't get better than that. Season 4 and 5 sucked.
I dont think the seasons sucked. I thought both were very well written. The biggest mistake was killing off Cordelia. Season 5 would have been so much better, had she been around bc really the last time we saw her was in season 3, since it was mainly a Jasmine posessed Cordy we saw in season 4. Season 3 of Angel was definetly the best season between both Angel and Buffy. Man I loved that one

Yeah, I didn't really miss Cordy until "You're Welcome," but after that I kept thinking of how much better the show would've been if she were still in it. Although, to be honest, she kind of reached the logical conclusion of her character arc. She went from a ditzy, self-obsessed twit to a caring, motherly figure by the end of season 3. What else was there for her to do? I was never a fan of her and Angel getting together.

"Halloween" and "The Zeppo" are some of my favorites also.

Oh and Becoming Part's 1 & 2 are still the best two episodes of the whole series.

I have a question for you Buffy... Buffs.

Why is it that metal can't be use to stake a vampire (as stated in "The Harvest") yet we saw several times that it could be used to behead vampires?

and...

This is more me wondering about lazy casting rather than a question, why was there absolutely no explanation as to why "The Vessel" (from "Welcome To The Hellmouth" and "The Harvest") and "Kralik" (the vampire from Buffy's Cruciamentum in the episode "Helpless") were played by the same actor.

The production team probably just liked the actor.

Metal can be used for beheading because it's the separation of the vampire's head that makes the difference there. The material used to behead the vampire is irrelevant. For the heart, I guess the rule is that there has to be contact with wood.
