I thought Illyria had interesting interactions with the entire Fang Gang.
She had that golden moment with Connor as well, but that's part of the training session with Spike I believe. She was just a new antagonist for Angel, and Gunn was just guilty whenever he saw her. I don't think she interacted with Lorne too much. Spike had that one really funny training scene with her. Other than that, she was really only interesting with Wesley, and that was only because of how good Fred and Wesley were together.
I really wouldnt classify Illyria as one of the best villians. She was only a villian for 1 episode. Even then I really wouldnt say she was a villain bc she was more out of place and unaware than anything. She was an ally for the rest of her appearances
I guess, but like I said she was out of place, and misniformed. She reawakened several centures too late, and the world around her had changed. She also wanted to reunite with her people, and once she saw that they were long since dead, she pretty much stopped everything else and tried her best to assimilate with humans and live in the same world as them. I guess I kind of felt bad for her in the end, especially since she was lost and alone in this unknown timeShe wanted to lay waste to human civilization and create endless generations of darkness. She was pretty damn villainous first time out.
But it had Hush (The best episode of all time), Restless (The best season final of them all), Superstar and New Moon Rising (The real end to Oz and Willow)
I think we'll somehow wind up with both. The best scenario would be Whedon blatantly ripping off 52 by freeing Fred's soul and allowing her and Wesley to be a ghost couple while Illyria keeps the physical body.
We know that's what someone said. We don't know whether it's true or whether LA being sent to Hell or whether any number of other things that have happened so far have changed it.But we already now that Fred's soul is gone, as in doesn't exist anymore. This is what has me puzzled at current direction with her in the comic. Where is it going to go?
He was alright, not a big threat, but his look scared the **** outta me the first time I saw him. That's insane! Adam sucked!
