Burn Notice

I thought Bloodgood was fine. I could see Esposito playing the character a little sassier, but I thought the calm, cool performance Bloodgood gave worked well. This is supposedly a cop who's good enough to make the life of Michael Westen, Super-Spy for Hire, difficult, after all. She's bound to be confident, calm under pressure, and a little arrogant--all of which came across in Bloodgood's performance to me.

And anyway, she'll probably be dead by season's end. I'd say she'd turnaround and help Mike, but that'd seem too much like Bly for my taste.

I can see it; she gets in to deep while he's fighting off old enemies, gets caught in the crossfire.

Yeah, Mike's life does seem like an awfully dangerous thing to stumble into unprepared.

I could also see Mike finally taking the offer Mahoney's character made last season, resulting in that organization's protection being reinstated, Mike effectively vanishing from Detective Paxton's radar, and Paxton getting fired for continuing the investigation into Mike on her own. Psycho-stalker!

what gets me is that Samantha Who got cancelled and Esposito is probably kicking herself now for pulling out....and Esposito has a fantastic rack, near perfect

Bloodgood's rack ain't bad either. Her hair looked fantastic in BN compared to her bland straight 'do from Journeyman, too.

Ive always said that at the end of season 3 michael will have no choice but to ask for Managments help.

Yeah, writing that theory out, I came to like the sound of it. It'd be neat to see a savvy civilian's perspective on the cloak-and-dagger nature of Mike's world, and having Paxton try to hunt him down in spite of all the spy roadblocks thrown in front of her could be a great way to show us that.

Awesome I knew it was just a matter of time before we see Brennen back , I really enjoyed him when he first showed up in season 2

Yeah when I first saw him, I knew he would be returning :D a character like that just has to make more than one apearance.

Isn't it great when the viewers and writers are in sync? Logical progression in a show--what a great concept. The writers behind Heroes need to take note of this. :o

Or why Bryan Fuller is a guy they never want to let go again. The show immediately got a little bit more enjoyable when he came back. Still wasn't good because, let's face it, the man's not a miracle-worker. But better.

Seeing as I heard somewhere that Fuller would want to make a new Star Trek show... I hope Heroes lets Fuller go again and dies a horrible canceled death like it should.

And to bring this back to Burn Notice. Jack Coleman needs to be on this show. Now that guy would make a good adversary to Mike.

Yeah, that was a good epi with Brennan. (I had to go back and look it over on the Burn Notice site to remember exactly what happened.) I remember people talking about how they hoped Brennan would show up again. Always good to see Mike against a formidable foe.

Oh man, don't f**k with Weston. I can't believe he went there. I mean, sure, he didn't really, but still.

You know. One of these days, Mike's brother has to be successful. Kinda like JD's brother in Scrubs.

(also, that's what she said to the final lines from Bloodgood or whatever her name is)

I was hoping that Mike would eventually wind up killing Brennan...and that other guy.

What he did instead was equally satisfying.

lol I love the fact that in the 2nd episode Michael refers to Det Pax partner as '' Det Whahisname'', because he wasnt formally introduced. Then in this episode ''det whatshisname'' finally gets introduced to michael. :hehe:

...and gets promptly suspended.

I hope I don't jinx this (I don't think my jinx is that powerful), but BN's streak of marvelous episodes (ALL of them! 3 seasons!) is not something I have seen on modern TV, ever.

Thoughts on the episode

I honestly think that this would have to be one of my top 5 Burn Notice episodes, as it really showcased just how badass Michael weston can really be when pushed.

The guy who plays Nate weston can sell getting shot better than anyone Ive seen.

I dont think we have seen the last of Brennen ( or maybe thats because he said '' I will see you again Michael'' )

Det is definatly a pshyco stalker with a badge ( Just like TheCorpulent1 said )
