Drama Royal Pains

Seems like Peck will be causing some more problems for Hank. We all saw that coming.

I'm kind of glad she's pimpin' him because Evan tried before to warn his brother that she was trouble and Hank just seems not to take it too seriously. I hope this escalates.

I hope she just goes away soon. I can't stand her. She makes Hank even less charismatic than he normally is, and given that he's probably the blandest part of the show to begin with, that's a dangerous liability.

I don't see Hank as bland at all. I think he's suppose to be the straight man surrounded by these crazier characters.

But yeah, I wouldn't mind to them dump Peck. She's sexy in a way, but not someone I'd be with. Hank needs to score Jill for all our sakes. She's got everything a man needs.

Jill's outfit in that episode where she and Divya got all '80s-style crazy was both wonderful and revolting. :awesome:

Emily's actually kind of creepy with marking her territory on Hank and all. Not to mention she poached one of Hank's clients and Hank lets her get off by stripping naked in front of him. I don't understand why Hank isn't seeing through Emily's ********. She's clearly insane and damaged goods.

I like that Evan manned up with his fake girlfriend's father and manned up to his fake girlfriend, though he should've done it before he got shot in the ass.

I agree that Hank needs to get with Jill. Probably by the end of this season or beginning of next. He'll soon realize that Peck is crazy. Right now he's letting her get away with all the crap she's pulled because she's sexing him up. It will eventually get old and he'll come to his senses (though they've shown his irritation toward the end of the last episode). I think Peck will team up with that other doctor who is on the board (the mother of the kid in last week's episode). Their combined forces will try to destroy Jill and Hank Med.

Evan didn't really man up so much as his true feelings bled through the facade at that meal with the parents, and then his fake girlfriend manned up after he refused her payment. She was the one who finally had the balls to move the relationship into openly real status by asking him to dinner for realsies.

But yeah, that scene with Hank totally being fine as soon as Emily was naked was just pathetic. Dude's a grown man, not some horny teenager. Sometimes there are things more important than sex, and I would think your girlfriend being a manipulative, amoral b**** would be one of them. :o

I don't think Hank has had that much action. I didn't watch the first season. Did he do the hokey pokey with Jill? Because either way, it would be quite some time for Hank to be getting action.

Yeah, Hank and Jill were together for a while in the first season. Her ex-husband came back and caused a lot of tension, though, so she and Hank broke up.

I don't like her either. Her encroaching on the main cast is getting a little suffocating but Hank's hubrice in dealing with her is almost deserving.

Evan WARNED HIM about her. Just shows what he thinks of his bro's advice. Not much.

If this were anime, Emily would basically be like a yandere, a crazy psycho woman. She's an extreme micro-manager. She puts herself and her reputation and her business before her patients. She's also a cold ***** on the outside but on the inside is a needy clingy woman that clearly always has to get her way.

Why Hank is not seeing the warning signs with writing PROPERTY OF EMILY on his body and stealing his clients is beyond me. Hank's never really had trouble getting ass before. Women have basically thrown themselves at him. I'm just really disappointed with Hank that its taking him this long to see Emily this way.

The other thing is that Divya has seen through Emily's deceptions first hand, and yet despite being a trusted platonic friend and confidante of Hank, she refuses to tell him about it. You think maybe Divya would mention the whole spa treatments thing and not even lifting a finger to help or check on a choking little boy in a restaurant. Does Divya simply feel that was just Divya being hormonal and territorial?

They basically made Jill the perfect woman but whatever.

I'm starting to think that Eddie is not a con man any more. That's clearly what the writers have wanted us to think and we've all fell right into their trap, but after tonight, I'm thinking that Eddie is no longer a con man because he was arrested and he is now an informant for the FBI and they are investigating none other than Boris.

That would be a good twist

I've been saying this all along; it's your typical red herring.

I just refuse to believe that Eddie R. has come back to reconcile what little there is left of a relationship with his sons just to pull a scumbag card out all over again on them. That would be redundant and stupid writing and it just doesn't fit the complexion of this show anyway.

Divya is nice to look at but Jill is on a whole other level.

Well, at least it looks like one of the arcs for this season will be about Hank discovering how totally wrong Emily is for him. He's learning that they're professionally incompatible, at least.

Eddie clearly has something going on. I hadn't thought of anything like Eddie switching over from scamming for himself to spying for the government, but it's as likely as anything at this point. One thing that really bothers me about him, whether he's now a "white hat" or not, is his relationship with Evan. Poor Evan is practically on his hands and knees begging to be loved by the guy, yet all Eddie seems to genuinely care about is Hank. It must be terrible to be the second-best sibling under a parent who so obviously prefers the other sibling. :csad:

Also, Jill is astoundingly gorgeous. I honestly think I could watch an entire episode of her just talking at this point. Give her a phone book or War and Peace and sit her in front of a camera, and that would instantly be among my top five episodes. :awesome:

And sadly it would actually be more exciting than just about anything Hank does. :(

Possibly. I kind of feel bad for the actor. He seems like a nice guy, but something about Hank just doesn't click with me. Literally everything else in the show is more interesting than him...

He is just the ultimate straight man, which is needed on a show like this, but sadly it makes him the boring one when surrounded by a bunch of funny, charming characters.

Well, this is a staunch reality that many parents won't fess up to. A parent can LOVE all of his/her kids but alot of parents always have one that they favor over another for various reasons. Sad but true.
Did you ever stop to think that most kids prefer and show favor towards one of their parents more? Is that right? No, but it happens.

It doesn't mean that the kid doesn't love the other parent.

Yeah, but Eddie basically ignores Evan. He hangs out with him now and then, probably because Evan is the son who'll actually have him, but he's not really interested in being around Evan. He rushed Evan out of the house when he was returning the sunglasses, he had that one really prominent picture of Hank on the table and none that I could see of Evan, we've never seen any quiet, loving scenes between Eddie and Evan the way we saw with Eddie and Hank at the end of last episode, etc. Eddie is all but a stranger to Evan as far as I can see. Most parents do a better job of at least trying to treat siblings as equals.
