bush wants to violate geneva conventions laws

Sounds good to me. Could it be it's because enemy combatants like the terrorists and assassins we hold now, don't fit the Geneva laws anyway??

He's been violating the geneva conventions all along anyway, He's just trying to make it legal?

why? how does it benefit us? and do you really want to help them in their speeches when they tell stories about us not bothering to obey them and being hypocrites? do you want to help them gain support and recruites?

or remember when saddam's military surrendered so easily, because they knew they wouldn't be tortured?

I wonder if that would be so likely had they thought we weren't going to obey the Geneva Conventions.

you guys don't think these things through, because your so blinded by your animal instincts and all you can think about is accomplishing is as much revenge as possible instead of trying to solve the situation and move onto better things.

Dear America,

Next time dont vote for the moron.

Best wishes, The World.

When is the next election anyways?

Exactly. He's probably been watching the Saddam trial and suddenly thought to himself, 'Well goshdarn, some of those charges apply to me!'

I do believe that you are a troll. No one is that stupid.

Wow, this is really going to make us look good in front of the international community :o

Dear World,

John Kerry was still the worse candidate even though George Bush sucks ass.

Sorry, an American discontent with the two party system :(

In a way that's true.

At least Bush had the backing of most of the American people going into Iraq. Blair most definately did not have the backing of the British public.

Again and again, Blair does the opposite of what most of the people want.

as much as i'd like to say that this shocks me... it doesn't.

he's not trying to break the law right under our noses, telling us he's going to do it, and people still defend him. jesus tap dancing christ.

Hell, I was thinking of Tony Blair being George Bush's personal b***h :o

It is weird how Blair follows the lead of Bush constantly. The fact that Blair ignores the voices of the British public and the voices of his own politicians, and just follows Bush instead... it's just mad.

I'm not a crazy conspiracy theorist, but it makes me think they have some insane master plan. What adds more fuel to that thought is the situation in Israel right now. Is the entire thing just an excuse for Britain and the US to invade Iran???

What IS the big picture here in the minds of these men?

His code-name is "Dead Eyes".

Are the Baathists and Islamofascists surrendering in Iraq?

It benefits the American military, because there are those who'd love to use the UN to harrass American soldiers, even if nothing is done. The consequence of such a policy if the US was to be harrassed unnecessarily is eventual isolation from world politics, which would result in great instability in the world.

The American military has a pretty good history of holding its soldiers accountable as is.

I'm going to predict the dates of the next three presidential elections.

Early November 2008, early November 2012, early November 2016.

I'm betting to be 100% correct.

Maybe they see the terrorists as a worldwide threat, but it might be just me.

That's easy enough to buy and invest without having a war, so no.
