BvS BvS: Early Tweet Discussion Thread (NO SPOILERS) - Part 1

Ok, let's be real here, we've got a lot of great reactions, practically none bad, and notably from some people who didn't like MOS.

Someone saying they didn't hear good things about the movie is based on what? A couple of people they know? It's like Devin "troll" Faraci who said he heard horrible things about Daredevil before it came out, and well, we know what happened there

Some of these bloggers and critics are friends. Some of them live in LA, and they go to press screenings and they talk to each other.

Right we can't really gauge anything from these reactions. We'll get a better grasp on Monday and Tuesday then finally when we see it. As of right now I wouldn't get excited/worried based of these. "Someone I know said it was better then TDK" . "Someone I know said it wasn't that good."

On latest Meet the Movie Press, Jeff Sneider and the other host, both said they have not heard good things about the movie. The British host says he hasn't heard it was a bad movie, just that it's not good movie.

That isn't negative news in my opinion. He said they didn't say it wasn't a bad movie, just not a very good movie. To me that states they even thought it was okay or they liked it somewhat. If that's the sign of these "mixed" or "negative" reactions, I'm all for it. And besides, he said he only heard from a few people.... and Marc Bernardin pretty much said the same thing, but he liked BvS judging from his tweet.

It's not like we've seen more positive than mixed/negative or anything. Let's freak out over a "not good but not bad" reaction because that's the sensible thing to do.

When did Frosty confirmed he loved it? Either way, I get the feeling its going to get a similar reception to MOS. I loved MoS but it got really annoying seeing the hate it got the last 3 years.

Here is what we have learned in this thread:

1) Positive reactions from people who saw the movie dont matter because some people thought highly of MOS early on too...

2) Negative reactions where said person "heard from someone" the movie wasnt good are legit and more truthworthy...

3) John Campea wants to murder Gal Gadot!!1!!11!!

4) John Campea has no problem with Gal Gadot.

5) We all need more thumbs cause 2 is not enough!

You know people might not assume you are looking for bad things to happen if every post you made didnt make it seem like you are damned near giddy at any possible negative thing to come out and almost dismissive of anything positive. Just saying...

Seems you've either got one group saying they heard it wasn't that good, and another group saying they heard it's great. The sooner the embargo is lifted, the better.

Looks like you missed the meltdown.

When BvS dropped the final trailer, everybody was hyped. At that "perfect" moment, McWeenie dropped a vid on his blog saying that his sources tell him that there were screening (whether internal or no idk) and that they were unsure, and worried. Therefore, McWeenie proceeded to say that Snyder's job could be in jeopardy if NvS is bad and that JL would be replaced with a batman film.

A few days later, snyder drops the pic of him and Aquamoa in room with JL costumes easter eggs for us to have fun with. McWeenie then writes how Snyder dropped a pic to try and convince people that everything was on schedule.

Oh so that's the guy, thanks dude!

Seriously..... why are you on this board? All I've seen from your posts is negativity towards the movie.

Nobody is saying the movie isn't going to get negative or mixed reviews. We know the movie isn't going to get amazing reviews.

Tell me what your talking about.... because i think you are truly trying to shed a negative light on this film which isnt there..... imo im not discrediting any negatives about the movie if and when it comes....but from what ive seen its has been more positive than negative.... i mean atleast we are spending time on things we like...thats why we r here...why r u here?
