@RadioSha its funny. Some guy tells us not to get excited at other people's reactions and then goes on to say this movie is divisive. What makes his reaction any more credible?

Which is fair. But that also doesn't mean that they're necessarily wrong in saying that it's great. It just means, you know. Have fun with the reactions, but don't get carried away. You'll have to decide for yourself when you see the movie. And so will I. I'm sure I'll enjoy it, though. I loved MoS. How I'll feel about everything specifically, I won't know for another week. :(

Na i totally get that... i was being a bit sarcastic, but since the start this movie is getting compared to as2 and ff4 why? I dont get that same vibes at all with this.. cast seems pretty tight and also praise the director... plus there have been positives coming out of actual critics... i get being cautious but not every movie is ff4 or as2..



Its like they keep beating that in our heads...fantastic four ,amazing spiderman2... look at what it did to the other posters here... they started believing it will be like that.... but seriously thats all ive been hearing...

So isn't it obvious that till then we'll have to pass the time checking out reactions from fans who've seen the film? Wasn't that the very purpose of the "early twitter reaction" thread? Do we really need people to insult our intelligence by continuously telling us to temper our expectations beecause these early reactions can be misleading?

I swear this **** only happens with this film. Really gets on my nerves.

I didn't get as offended by the naysayers, but I feel you, though. One of the reasons I came back to the Hype for this is because every time I post on Facebook about this movie my friends who do comment are like, "meh, I fear it's going to suck," and I'm like, based on what, jackhole?!?! Then they're like, "make mine Marvel!" and I'm like, hey, I'mma see Civil War too, why's it got to be a contest?

Even dudes who liked MoS tell me they're worried about BvS. One dude (former Hyper and one of my roommates) didn't like MoS, but is a Snyder fan and thinks this movie looks good. It's like... I feel like that meme with the guy slamming his head into his keyboard until there's blood everywhere.

So I came here just to remind myself that I'm not the only dude on the planet who's hyped for this joint.

Oh no.. He definitely saw it. And this movie is another divisive mess. He has allegedly been around from mos therefore everything he says must be gospel. :o
 
hopefully we can find some tough critics who saw the movie there

I didn't say, ever, for anyone not to get excited. If you're going to accuse me of something derogatory at least have the common courtesy to read what I posted.

Indeed. I love Spidey almost as much as I love Batman and I didn't bother with ASM2 at all. I wouldn't have seen ASM but a buddy of mine rented it and was like, "it's cool, you should come over and we'll watch it," so I did and he was like, "see, that was cool," and I was like, "no, it was the garbage I knew it would be." I didn't bother with FANT4STIC either because the talk about how the director was in over his head and the trailers looking all wrong, etc... I don't get that vibe from this one either.

You're right, they don't really need to come here and piss in our cornflakes, but it's easier not to let it bother you, really.

I don't know. But he did deliver on that snooping-bar event last time around. :oldrazz:

By now I've grown numb to all this. 3 years of this rollercoaster and I foresee another 3 years. Good, bad, mixed- bring it on.
 
why you guys jumping down poni's throat he just said dont get too excited over random nobodies tweeting i remember positive early screening reactions to fantastic four and green lantern
 
haven't we already established the rule of thumb around here that only negative reactions count as relevant?
