I don't have a problem with poniboy telling people to keep their excitement in check. That is the correct thing to do...

Next sentence he goes on to say that the movie will be divisive. WTF? What makes it true? He's just one guy. He doesn't speak for everyone else. Yet everyone is going crazy.

When dodong27 said it was a good movie everyone labelled him a troll before he provided proof.

some people in this thread need more reassurance than my clingy teenage girlfriend

Exactly its not that he said keep your expectations in check. I think we all would get that part , but he had to add its going to be divisive. It could be true but let the ppl judge that part at least for themselves

when dodong27 posted that pic everyone was shocked i bet ..that was kinda gangsta tho lol

Can someone translate them please.

He says...

Do not click MAMES !!
I was very pleased with #BatmanvSuperman largely fulfilled my expectations and those "spins nut "

He also rated it a 9.5 out of 10.

I thought it was common knowledge on these boards. The movie is already divisive because the fanbases of these characters are divisive. That's just reality. Unless people go into this actually expecting both diehard Batman and diehard Superman fans to be equally happy? That's unrealistic

After reading Pale's posts, Poniboy is likely right about the fanbase being divisive.

As someone who has seen it, is there a reason why they would want to keep lockdown on spoilers The Force Awakens style? Blink or something if the answer is yes.

I'm just worried the NDA is so tight because the movie is bad.

I'm putting together what AnneFan has said what Poni_Boy has said.

What I think they mean is that the decisions made in this movie may divide people, but that doesn't necessarily mean that the quality of the movie itself is divisive. It could be an amazing movie, but certain interpretations or plot points may not be what people EXPECTED, but nonetheless works within the narrative of the film.

Examples like Harvey Dent's death scene in TDK, The Mandarin revelation in Iron-Man 3, or even Jonathan Kent's tornado scene. I believe that worked within the story of Man of Steel (proving a point to Clark about keeping his powers a secret before he is ready). But in other iterations, Jonathan Kent dies of a heart attack (proving that even with all the power in the world, Clark can't stop death).

Both result in the same thing, but the one that ended up for Man of Steel fits its own narrative much better, even if the execution might divide some people. So, I think there are aspects that may be controversial in BvS, but in my opinion, that just propels the legacy of these comic book characters. That's how these icons sustain their longevity. We are still talking about them and we will continue talking about them for as long as we have creative people putting fresh spins for future generations.

I don't know why, but I am not feeling any of these tweets. I'll just have to wait for the reviews, I guess! :-/

Just like what the guy on reddit said, the point of division is probably batman doing something. He said batman does something controversial.

Post credits? As in end credits or mid-credits?

Remember. This is a NON-SPOILER thread. I don't know what you're saying, but you better STAY PUT. Don't go any further, son. :oldrazz:

Yes, I keep hearing this thing about Batman. Don't spoil it for us, please.

Someone asked this same guy if it's the best superhero movie of 2016, and he says...

"from my point of view it kicked back #Deadpool, they went up a level of what we are used to from Marvel"

Did they really incorporate post credits scene?

now i know why Poni said divisive( its not directly related to the film quality)
