just read a negative review on twitter where he called it too dense and then called it cliche

i was like umm WHAT???

Watchmen was a phenomenal film, and that got a 65 on Rt.
I'm expecting a similar score for BvS.
Some critics don't like Snyder's style. And you know what, that's fine. I've learned a lot since MOS.

So I went to the #BVSPremiere with Sebastian and OMG the movie was amazing and it was the first time seeing Sebastian in a suit

Not necessarily. It's just that DC fans have a reputation for nothing liking anything negative at all being said. TDKR started it. MOS continued it. This delay getting BvS has just fanned the flames. One of my buds who writes for a print mag says he's setting his Twitter to private once his review goes up. And he actually liked the movie

Oh okay thanks. That makes sense. I'm just wondering what the RT % is going to be. Do you have any predictions? If you don't want to post it can you PM me?

I totally get it. I could see some fans being like, "DUDE. YOU *ONLY* GAVE IT A 6.5/10? HOW DARE YOU! YOU SHOULD HAVE LIKED IT MORE!"

It's ridiculous.

Well that's why I'm asking. He said "a lot," and he said they are dreading Tuesday. Why would they be dreading it if they were giving the movie a good review?

I suppose some negative reviews are inevitable. I remember reading the RT reviews for "Avengers" and the rotten ones all sounding biased and full of crap, and it was easy to discount them, because they were wrong.

But still... if a critic gives a good review to a universally hated movie they can get a lot of crap for that too, I'd imagine. I dunno.

I guess my point is really just that it's not worth getting upset about or anything... and there's plenty for critics to be worried about in an era when everybody's a critic and everybody has a voice.

If #BatmanvSuperman is an example of what to expect from future DC movies then Marvel better watch out

It's like some of these weird Nolan worshippers view it as a threat to their beloved trilogy. Some of them aren't right in the head

I find this to be so strange. I absolutely love TDK trilogy which are my three favorite comic book films, yet I cannot wait to see this new interpretation of Batman! Based on everything I've seen and heard, Affleck owns the role. Four years ago I never understood the concept of "Nolanites" but I am really starting to.

I honestly don't think, as a comic fan, we're going to get another film like this in our lifetime. #BatmanvSuperman

This is how I want to feel after seeing the film... like I saw something special and unique

Don't forget, Rotten Tomatoes is binary, actual reviews aren't. Plenty of reviews read as mixed, regardless of whether they're a fresh or a rotten.

So perhaps some of Poni's colleagues still plan on giving favorable reviews with some criticisms (as is normal), and are dreading the blowback from whatever less than glowing things they have to say.

Affleck's dark and broody Batman made his first official outing in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice this evening.

[mild redaction]

And while that might sound dramatic, his psychological breakthrough is nothing compared to the action-packed fight sequences that make up this three hour epic.

The intensity of the insanely long film is achieved with special effects, plot twists, geeky references and the volume being turned up to eleven from start to finish.

While die-hard DC Comic devotees might be punching the air as the Justice League are teasingly introduced, the average film fan may be left scratching their head.

Overall Zac Snyder's Batman v Superman blockbuster is an emotionally charged punch-up — but it's newcomer Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman who really steals the show.

It's really, really annoying. Especially this "How DARE you compare this to any of Nolan's Batman movies!!" shtick. pelple compare new and old in every aspect of life. It's the norm.
