99% of average joes do not know how to rate a film out of 10

No. They just have different scales and opinions than you. For me, a 4/10 isn't awful just below average.

Her hating the movie isn't the problem. People are going to hate this movie..... it's like that with every big movie. My problem was she said WB are using fake accounts to get the buzz up. lol

This is the clickbait and flamebait generation, and this movie has had people gearing up against it for literally years. Don't let anything kill your hype besides your own viewing of the film.

A lot. In this thread alone several people were scrabbling after Joe's opinion like he's an informed or credible source of information.

CBM fans barely possess individual thought anymore, they just prescribe to the views of others.

I'm not sure how I feel about BvS yet. There's a lot I liked, a lot I got really excited about, and then there's stuff that...I didn't.

For whomever was wondering about The Shape's reaction... I asked and he shared. He had a blast watching it and is still riding the high, said he'll go into more detail tomorrow but for the time being, he said it was a lot of fun, said it was like a two-person character study that was almost Shakespearean at times, and had a good balance between the drama and the action, lot of great images... says it's more comic booky than gritty, and that the trailers kinda didn't give a real sense of the tone.

He said there's a lot that he loved, and a few things he finds questionable but the risks it takes do pay off. He's not ready to rate it or rank it right now but he had an obviously positive reaction to it. Sounds good!

Well, it sounds like it might be suffering from similar issues to Snyder's past work but maybe less problematic than before.
