there's more of these over at:

:D
You have no idea how much I want to punch both their faces. :oldrazz:

Nothing against them as people, but they just look like they're asking for it...it's they're faces in the pic. lol :oldrazz:

The Luthor and Singer captions are wonderful too.

My favorite is Hack. But the most important one is Anchor.

Wow. Those were not funny in the slightest. Well, maybe if your extreme, irrational loathing of a movie overrides any real sense of humor you might have, then I guess they could be considered somewhat funny.

It's a parody of motivational cards. You don't have to loathe the film to get parody.

They happen to be true, but that's just collateral damage. But actually you're right they are less funny as they are just truth.

Oh, I get the parody of motivational cards thing, and I've seen many that are actually funny. These just aren't funny, and the fact that people think they are because of a relentless need to bash a movie that, while being boring, over-long and drawn out, isn't really that bad.

Again, you're right they are not as funny as they are simply true.

the one with Routh holding the pen and paper like a waiter is pretty funny. The others seem to be more critiques than anything else. of course if you found SR tolerable than the wit probably escapes you.

No, they're not funny because all it is, is the same damn thing we've heard a million f**king times already from all the other Superman Returns haters. Things like the Singerman blog and several posters are nothing but broken records who say nothing but the same thing over and over and over and over and over again and again and again while trying to be witty about it by comming up with stupid ass phrases such as "Singerman".

Also they're not witty. 95% of the time people who try to come off as witty, they fail at it. And this is people as a whole, not just the Superman Returns haters.

So you're telling me what's funny and what isnt now? Well I found it humorous in the context of the motivational posters even if the criticisms arent anything new. YMMV

If that's their idea of fun, then count me out. I don't find those the least bit humorous.  Of course, that's to be expected from the biggest anti-Singer, anti-SR site out there.

For the record, this is the definition of "deadbeat":

dead·beat
–noun 1. a person who deliberately avoids paying debts.
2. a loafer; sponger.
–adjective 3. being a parent who neglects parental responsibilities, esp. one who does not pay child support: deadbeat dads.

Source: dictionary.com and the 2006 edition of the Random House Unabridged Dictionary.

Superman's speech to Jason at the end of the film ("the son becomes the father," etc.) only proved he was willing to be a part of his life. End of story.

Gotta admit, those were pretty funny. The "anchor" one still has me laughing.

Brutal talk back section though. Ouch!

No, I'm not telling you what's funny. That's really up to the person.

I'm telling you that it's blatantly obvious that the person who made this tried very hard to be witty but failed miserably. Seriously the only way you can even find these remotely funny is if you agree with that ******ed Singerman blog site.

Technically, Superman really can't be a deadbeat dad. He didn't even know that he had a kid and when he found out, he showed that he was willing to take responsibility in the child's welfare. That's isn't a deadbeat dad.

technically one could argue that he should have known that might've been a consequence of banging Lois and hung around for another month or so to be sure....regardless, your getting into semantics.
