Isn't he the stepbrother of Professor X? I guess that was not meant to be part of X3's storyline.

yeah it'd have been nice to see them acknowledge each other for a second or two there at jean's house... He's the Jino, bich... eh.

when the guy before ratner was doing x-men, there was gonna be some flashback scene between them..... i remember reading that they were looking for someone to play a young xavier...

I remember reading a while back that they thought in order to make it more like patrick stewert's brother, they wanted to go with an english thug type.
Then they decided not to address their relationship in the story. Kinda like how they never mentioned Nightcrawler and Mystique's relationship.

It wasn't necessary for the story, so it wasn't necessary to be mentioned..

They just can't put in significant things like that and turn them into throwaway scenes..

I guess in movieverse Xavier and Juggs aren't brothers. Cause if they were he must have shed a tear when he died.

We never see it, even if he did...Actually, it wouldn't have made a whole lot of sense if he did start to cry...No one would know why unless it was explained in the movie (throwaway scene).

Oh, I don't know. I would say that Juggernaut has taken enough hits to the head to justify random bouts of emotional outbursts . . . too much cranial trauma. :D

yeah, that scene felt really awkward.

I'm pretty sure that in the script and what not, they acknowledged that X and Juggs were brothers, but it never worked its way into the film. So continuity wise, yes, in the movie they are brothers, but they just never found a good way to work that into the script. Fine by me really, cause they could have very easily just have had someone mention it out of context of the situation and everyone is like omg and then they move on, removing any emotion the scene could have had. So it's probably a good thing they left it out.

Yeah...I think the writers said that they tried to do it, but it ultimately kept expanding and become too large for the story..

Well, in the comics he is. In the movie they might be related. But just like the Wolverine/Sabretooth/Weapon X connection they never say anything about it though.

One would think the writers could have figured this out early enough to decide to leave Juggernaut to a later film, eh?

I don't think that the writers wrote this movie with a future film in mind.

There are simply too many jokes to make at this point :) .

Vaughn is hoping that his long-time pal Vinnie Jones would be in the movie, more than likely as Juggernaut, but he hasn't signed anything yet. "What's interesting about Juggernaut is that he's the brother of Professor X, and that's why I thought it would be interesting having an English thug opposite Patrick Stewart." Vaughn wasn't too familiar with the origin of the character, but he didn't think it would have anything to do with Vietnam, as with Stan Lee's origin.

I also remember another interview with Vaughn or Stewart where its mentioned that Juggs and Xavier have 'a moment'.Not sure where that was posted.
