Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare

My w/l ratio is pretty bad, because I play solo and rarely use a mic. I do like to keep my k/d up, though. I normally play Domination, but I love to play the objective, so I cap as much as possible. I normally run around with SMGs or ARs. I'm not a pro player, but I think I'm slightly above average.

This and Smash U are going to be the games I play the most this year. Maybe a little bit of Halo, if they come out with some dedicated playlists, besides Team Slayer. Still going to play that game, but wont be playing it as much as COD:AW or Smash U.

Yeah I don't take my self super seriously like some of these pro players and MLG, which in my opinion is utterly ridiculous. It's a ****ing video game, they take it way toooooo seriously haha.

But yeah I always run with friends/our clan. Use miss communicate and play the objective but play smart. And yeah always try and keep my k/d up. I know some don't care about k/d but I care about mine a lot. I prefer to play objective based games. Mostly domination or demolition. No demolition though in AW :/ Hardpoint is back though and I enjoyed that a lot in Bo2.

I don't play too seriously either. Just try to have fun and support the team. My k/d is probably terrible, but I don't care. I do TRY to keep it up though. lol
Anyway BO 2 was probably my favorite multiplayer, but I enjoyed the modern warfare 2 and 3 multiplayer as well. BO2 had my favorite zombie mode as well

I'm all about C4, black ops 2 was just awesome for me with the C4 haha.

Having scavenger resupply your lethals in BO2 was the best. I think it wont do that in this one, which is kind of a bummer.

I just play for fun but I'm pretty bad lol.

There's quite a few streams of the game up on Twitch now.

Yeah but they all are only temporary cause they get banned pretty quickly. Plus I find it so odd that whenever people get the game early and leak or stream video, they always suck. No fun watching them anyway cause they're horrible haha.

So is Irons a good guy or bad guy? Or is he more of a neutral corporate stooge?

DLing right now. I should be on later today.

I only got to put in a couple hours last night before bed with multiplayer and I'm pretty impressed. It certainly has the pacing of BLOPS2 and an emphasis on assault rifle combat.

I've very impressed with the MP so far. It's all about how well you move and how well you aim aka a true FPS. Once you figure out boosting with the exo suit, it's a game changer. The killstreaks seem to have been diminished a bit which I like. They became too OP in recent games. It seems harder to get them now, especially since they have built in perks that cost more to earn the killstreak.

I'm downloading it right now. I still get the Day Zero thing right?

I'm downloading directly from Xbox Live. I'm hoping that's also the Day Zero edition otherwise I'm not going to get any of the goods.

Has CoD finally got the boost it needed?

COD needing a boost is somewhat of an internet myth. Even though the series has been declining, the sales are still second only to maybe GTA

So finally played a bit today before work. Absolutely love it, it blows ghosts out of the water for sure. It had the fast non stop pace of BO2. The Exo jumping and boosting from left to right I absolutely LOVE. It didn't really take a lot of getting use to for me, came naturally. It changes everything. I've already had some nice moments escaping death and tricking a player and me getting the kill by using the Exo.

Love the pick 13 system I use it mostly for perks and primary gun attachments. And I love being able to take each individual kill streak and upgrade it even more. And the customization of your character is really fun too. Graphics (I'm on ps4) are also just awesome.

Not talking about sales. A boost as in that I rate it on the same level as other leading games.

so how accessible would this game be to a newbie? in terms of gameplay mechanics, challenge, etc.

I've never played a CoD game before. are the CoD games connected to each other storywise or totally separate?

COD's multiplayer is pretty accessible to anybody. It's why I personally feel the series has been so popular for so long.

Storywise, some are connected, but I believe this is a standalone story. I'm not 100% sure, though.

Ah, okay. When I hear boost, I think sales.

ah, thanks!

btw.......does CoD have anything to do with another military FPS series, Medal of Honor?

I remember those Medal of Honor games on the PS1 ( and I think I might have played one of them ).

Nope, those are published by EA, different series.
