Sequels Can a Spider-Man movie ever top The Dark Knight?

Like I said, his death only helped the movie. It was already the most anticipated movie of the year. After his death, it became even more anticipated.

Ah, ok. Fair enough. Some folks around here have made such a big issue about it. Like it would have been a flop if not for this tragedy.

Well it's like Brandon Lee all over again...no one knew any of his past films, they only knew him as Bruce's son.

So, yes, I think I will say it's stupid. It's my opinion, but still...Ledger is an amazing actor, so that's how I feel.

I said people around me saw the tragedy on the news, and they told me that they were curious to see how great was this actor. I wasn't talking about everyone. I was talking about people around me: friends, neighboors, parents... .you said it was stupid. please, learn to respect them. the didn't know Ledger and I doubt most of us here in my country did. big personalities such as Tom Cruise, Will Smith, DiCaprio, Steven Spielberg and others are certainly known here, but someone as Heath Ledger, who didn't have a big boxoffice smash is totally unrecognizable over here. on other hand, Joker is a character everyone knows and there were news about how good was his acting as Joker everywhere. when the tragedy happened, he got more popular over here. his face was on the news, they talked about his previous works and his upcoming one, which got people interested. interested to see the actor, his last job, the character and his much complimented take on the character.

The question is can a Spider-Man movie ever have a level of quality that tops the Dark Knight's. Not be exactly like it. See the difference?

but yea,get Cameron outta retirement to take over Spidey,he was on board 1st
and as he has proved he's the master of sequels!
the Predator films have been handled well too,match them (apart from AvP1)
Spidey can be done as good as tdk,potentially better
but it needs to be handled professionally
also,look at the cast of Nolan's series
when you have actors of that quality you'd have to seriously **** up
Sony would havta spend some of that dosh to match the cast of the present Batman
also Heath Ledger wasnt really known here either to his death which uber hyped the film

What's so ridiculous about it, I happen to think those movies capture the greatness of the comic book genre, better than the majority of actual comic book films? You can include Alien/Aliens, as well.
