Can someone explain this new points system for infractions

I would like for Morg and DOG LIPS to try a little harder to justify their actions and outlook to me, please. The effort thus far has been unsatisfying. Thanks in advance.

(Maybe you should put as much effort into explaining things to the people who had these issues in the first place. Just thinking out loud.)

Then why are there so many people who don't understand what the hell they did wrong? I'm not trying to bust your balls. Seriously. I really don't have any problems with the mods personally because I know where the line is (or at least how to word things so that I can cross the line without you realizing it ). I'm just trying to illustrate that there's a problem and it's going to continue get worse if you guys just pretend that it's not your problem and doesn't need to be addressed. Moderating is a thankless job and you never hear anything but b1tching and moaning in response to your efforts. I understand that better than you will ever know. However, I see you guys making a lot of extra work for yourselves with this approach and it really doesn't have to be that way. Do with that what you will.

It's not like these points are probation or a ban, they are just one point. Be good for a while and it goes away. It takes THREE points to even get ONE day of probation. Yes, they are being slapped on minor things, but that's what they are there for. Something to use when it's not a probation-worthy offense. Just a; "Oi! Cut it out!"
