I know these exist, but I can't for the life of me think what they'd be called, or where I'd find them, so to you humble folk, I come to ask...
I'm looking for a set of images (lets say five) that would ... interject(?) each other to some degree if they were moved around; kinda' like a rubix cube I suppose, or one of those games where you have to move pieces around in order to form a picture?
Imagine you had a pallet of 9x9, the first two images were blank, the next one was pattern 1, followed on the second line (9x6?) by three other patterns that linked up with each other, and the 4th (which would be on the right hand side of the second row) linking with the first (which would be above it) and then the bottom row would have one that linked with the 2nd pattern, but the first from the second row.
If I then moved everything a cross by one, we'd have three patterns (that matched) on the second row and two beneath them that also linked too not just each other, but also the patterns directly above them. Hell, am I even making sense?

Imagine all the / blocks are patterns that link into the ones next too, and above/beneath them.
