I quickly noticed the Batman poses from this shoot are all based on the comics. Some I can't remember specifically, but I know I've definitely seen the pose before.

Can't remember where these are from:

There's also one based on this art work but I can't find it at the moment:

I remember a Brian Stelfreeze sketch, this pose was also used for Begins or TDK. I don't have a pichture of the sketch but I'm 100% sure. There was also a poster on these boards who ripped it off.

Nice... I love these CGI images of Batman. I'm waiting on the Hi-Res Bane pics!

Not sure of a comic source, but that shot is almost a direct knock off of the Man of Steel Superman shot that was released ...

This is very cool! As a non-comic book reader I would have never picked up on this.

The yellow backpack one screams Breyfogle to me...

But but but.....nolan doesnt stay faithful to the comics!!

As someone who hasn't read the comics either this is highly informative and fun.

Yea I can see Nolan & Goyer in the garage rummaging through all their comics and tbh’s looking for source material :funny:

You should see the TDK parallels. Maybe I'll work on a big post for that sometime.

Guys, these are obviously fabricated. We all know Nolan doesn't draw any inspiration from the source material.:o

Seriously though. As regular comic Book reader I'm upset that I didn't see these sooner.
Great work!

It's Bane. Confined hundreds of feet below Ras Al Ghul's lair in an ancient cistern or well.

They both strike me with the same savage nature.
