please give us batmans iconic wrap around cape.
no batmovie has and IMO is a must.
BB gave us the closest resembling this but have u noticed that there are hardly any if no scenes of batman in full picture. we only get torso/shoulder shots or very quick full shots.
the reason being i think is because the suit doesnt look all that good in full frame. give him a wrap around cape like the comics do and he would look soo much better. i want to see more iconic batman shots/poses. him talking to gordon with the cape all around him, using the cape to stay hidden./
there are so many reasons why the cape should be like the comic. the main being it makes batman look awesome. and us fanboys will be loving it.

Aggreed. The wrapped pose is essential to Batman's general presence in many situations.
I love how in the Animated Series, whenever he met with Gordon, you'd suddenly see the eyes in a corner of the room, and when Gordon turned on the light Batman would be there waiting ,his cape wrapped completely around, and Gordon would jump.

What about the scene when Batman walks through Arkham with the Bats around him.. Thats a good full shot of the suit.. Although, I would love to have the cape wrapped around him during the rooftop scene or when he is interrogating someone..

Yes, the wrap-around cape is a must.

Yeah, that was the one thing BATMAN BEGINS was missing in the final scene on the rooftop. If he had the cape wrapped around him, shrouded in mystery, he would have looked straight out of THE LONG HALLOWEEN or anyother worthwhile Batman book.

go look at that again equinox. u will see that its the belt and above. u do not see a full body shot of batman in that scene at all. the only time u see batman in a full body shot in BB is about half a dozen times and they are very quick shots.
thats my only knock of the film. too close to bats. pan back so we can see our hero properly.

Where did you get that? I never see it from that angle.

I'm not sure it is... there was a promo still of that scene that was full-body, but I think the actual shot in the film was just upper-body.

Besides, even if it was full-body, there weren't nearly enough sustained full-body shots in the film. It was a film that didn't want to give us a good look at its hero.

Perhaps this is what he wanted to see in the movie:

Could somebody maybe show us a shot of the animated series where his cape is draped around him? Because I'm not really sure what you guys mean.

Thats the cape I want!^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

You guys like the wrap around better? I would prefer the one he has right now more. Maybe he could still do that stuff from the animated series where he is hiding in the shadows but IMO the original he has right now is good. Then again I am a very plain person.

From a fanboy perspective, it's better. In the comics, Batman having his entire body cloaked is a trademark. Like someone mentioned earlier, Batman talking to Gordon on the police station with his cape completely shadowing his body is a classic image. Plus it just looks badass, and has a subtle but dramatic effect.

I have to agree with hush, thats looks so cool. I wanna see him like that lurking in the shadows or when he's talking with Gordon.

Bale should've done that in BB and I hope does something like that ^

So does the cape fold up when he moves around I just cant see him fighting w/ that.

Personally, it's much too small a detail for me to really care about it one way or the other.

Yeah, I make for a horribly crappy fanboy, but I make a mean bowl of Chilli.

When I watch "Batman: Dead End" I see all the "exact" things from the comics. The wrap around cape, the cloth uniform, the white eyes.

Problem is, they look contrived, fake. You can tell they have to stop the camera and re-position the cape to give it the comic-book effect and placement that they get in TAS.

I also had this problem with Burton's Gotham. It looked fake. Nolan's Gotham looked real.

Moral of the story is don't try to make something look too much like the comic just to please fanboys. Make it feel natural. Make it flow.

After 5 films, I think its time and not a lot to ask for.

that's what I was just thinking, if he had a wrap around wouldn't it tangle sometimes and get in his way?

The Dead End costume is horrible. This style looks terrible in live action... no more, I've said no more, I'll torture my eyes watching any fan film... can not...
