Oh you.... acting like daytime soaps have anything to do with it. :o

Numbers don't lie. Ratings down slightly at 1pm and down BIG TIME at 2pm with the talk shows replacing the soaps. And who watches Dancing with the stars? Um, soap fans. Don't forget, the current ratings system is a big educated guess, and even worse in the daytime hours.

Yeah numbers don't lie. They only jumped to third because they included the Super Bowl's massive ratings along with the post-SB edition of The Voice. All networks include the Super Bowl but take that away and NBC falls to fourth.

CBS has done well with The Talk and Let's Make A Deal after cancelling two soaps.
The fourth hour of Today is still on years after Passions was canceled.

Even The Chew will be back for a second season. So The Revolution was a misstep, that happens all the time. They take a gamble hoping for a younger audience with a cheaper show.
ABC gave a daytime time slot up but Katie will essentially be a ABC show across the US.

It was the 13th and 14th editions of DWTS and they're running out of D-Listers. But maybe you're right maybe soap fans are pissed off so they boycott a show they used to enjoy.

I just wanna say Im so upset that Oh Fk its you and Super Fun Night wasnt picked up. I heard theyre both being shopped somewhere else. Where else would they be shopping them?

I was looking forward to both those shows. Hope they're picked up by someone else.

The only thing I cared about on NBC was awake and grimm

What do soaps have to do with the ratings of its prime time shows? All this shows is that it was a mistake for Disney to move football from ABC to ESPN.

I forgot all about that.

Which just goes to show you how much MNF matters anymore.

Of course, it doesn't help that they have **** for commentators.

yeah, they sound better than any of the other pilots being picked up by the other network.
Furthermore, cbs got that berlanti/malins pilot after a fierce bidding war, seems like a total waste to just give it up.

I know this is a little late, but I only found out. I'm a little shocked that CBS cancelled CSI: Miami. I was sure CSI: NY was going to be the one cancelled, especially since Miami is probably more popular, but in fact CSI:NY was renewed for one more season.

The only good thing to come from any CSI show was that gif of Jessica Lucas' bouncing chest fruit.

And cheesy David Caruso opening gags.

*pulls off sunglasses and stares*

^^^ Which show, episode was that from?........Just out of curiosity. :oldrazz:

In CSI MIami there's been lots of bouncing chest fruit. That's the show you're bound to find people in bikinis basking in the hot sunshine more frequently than the other two. And that's the one they cancelled!

Deadline:
Bristol Palin’s Lifetime Reality Series Bombs
By NELLIE ANDREEVA

The premiere of Lifetime’s new reality series Bristol Palin: Life’s a Tripp last night drew an underwhelming 726,000 total viewers and 254,000 adults 18-49. The series starring Sarah Palin’s daughter fell dramatically from its lead-in, Dance Moms, which delivered 1.8 million total viewers and 992,000 18-49s. Life’s a Tripp also was well below the debut of the Lifetime’s now-defunct Roseanne Barr docureality series Roseanne’s Nuts, which opened with 1.6 million total viewers and 863,000 in adults 18-49 before falling off precipitously in subsequent airings.

This pleases me. :o:up:
