I watched Selfie on Tuesday. It was boring. America made the right choice.
Gillan/Cho was a golden duo and you've all pissed it away. Enjoy more Parsons/Galecki, America.... YOU BASTARDS!
Aw man, Selife wasn't groundbreaking or anything but I found parts of it funny, and the leads were great. Shame it didn't get a chance to come into its own while dull, repetitive crap like NCIS, BBT and Two and a half men run for ten f***ing years.
And that, my friends, is the descent of local cable
Love him on Parenthood.Sam Jaeger To Star In TNT Pilot ‘Lumen’
by Nellie Andreeva
As Parenthood is wrapping its six-season run on NBC, original cast member Sam Jaeger is segueing to a new drama project. He has been tapped for a lead role in the TNT drama pilot Lumen, written by Chris Black and directed by Joe Johnson.
In Lumen, the famous author of a best-selling series of fantasy books suddenly disappears, and a family of four finds themselves transported to the mystical alternate world that inspired her work. Jaeger will play Michael Hartman, the stepfather of 16-year-old Charlie whose obsession with finding the author thrusts his family into the surreal world of Lumen. Michael, a widower now married to Charlie’s mother and the father of a rebellious teenage daughter, is challenged with trying to keep his family together as they confront the amazing but dangerous reality of Lumen.
Lumen hails from TNT Original Productions, Steven Spielberg’s Amblin Television, Full Fathom Five and ABC Signature Studios, with Johnson, Black, Amblin’s Darryl Frank and Justin Falvey as well as Full Fathom Five’s James Frey and Todd Cohen exec producing. Filming begins January 12 in New Zealand.
Jaeger, who has played Joel Graham for Parenthood‘s entire run, next will be seen in Paul Thomas Anderson’s Inherent Vice opposite Joaquin Phoenix and in Clint Eastwood’s American Sniper opposite Bradley Cooper. He is repped by Greene & Associates and Circle of Confusion.
Just be glad America is smart enough to avoid Mulaney.
Fixed.
There's Netfix, HBO, Amazon (Transparent is great), and others that evolve Television. When was the last time local cable networks had anything groundbreaking or was considered must-see TV?

Hearing about Heigl's reputation on film sets it probably won't last a whole season. What's this State of Affairs series with Katherine Heigl? Is it meant to be any good.
I don't remember the specifics. But it was something Viola Davis talked to the show's creator about when she took the part. She wanted to avert the whole thing on TV where the actress goes to bed in full hair and make-up and s***.
Yeah but that's a bit excessive. Even when tv tries to show a woman going to bed like a normal woman they can't even do that right. Im pretty sure when she suggested it she just meant a scene of her washing her makeup off, and not a scene of her character turning out to be Mrs. ****ing Doubtfire.
It felt like she was washing away the Analise Keating character and revealing that underneath was Sam Jackson.
