Kristen Hager?!Jerry Bruckheimer & Michael Bay’s Drug Trade Drama On TNT Casts Four
by The Deadline Team
Kristen Hager, (Being Human), Kelsey Siepser, (The Price We Pay), Adria Arjona (Narcos) and Oscar Jaenada (Cantinflas) have landed series regular roles on TNT’s Untitled Miami Project from Jerry Bruckheimer and Michael Bay. Written by Masters Of Sex creator/executive producer Michelle Ashford, the serialized character drama is set in the wild and unpredictable world of the Florida drug trade in the 1970s.
Hager will play Luanne, a former beauty queen who is in a loveless marriage with pot runner Bobby (not yet cast) and finds little appeal in being a mother to their 8-year-old daughter. She is repped by The Schiff Company, The Kohner Agency, Toronto-based The Characters Agency, and Hirsch Wallerstein Hayum Matlof and Fishman. Siepser, repped by Shelter Entertainment, will play Kat Wiseman, a partner in a marijuana business who is involved in a passionate and tortured affair with the married love of her life and business partner Bobby. Arjona will play Colombian-born Maria Zorilla. She is in love with all things American, and is also one of the most vicious drug traffickers to ever grace the Miami stage. Jaenada, repped by Paradigm, Jesus Garcia Ciordia in Spain, and attorney Matt Johnson, will play Jimeno “The Poodle” Padilla, a pot dealer turned cocaine trafficker.
I never watched, but that's a shame. Gosselaar and Breckin Meyer seemed like a good pair.
Also, why does Fox treat Bob's Burgers so badly?
Season premier, skip a month... episode 2, skip a month... episode 3, skip a month.
It's so annoying. Yes, I know of Baseball/Football stuff but then why even debut it in September if it's not going to roll out in an orderly fashion?
