I'm sure plenty of people would. :o

Stay classy WEtv:

It shows how much s***ty, exploitative "reality" TV has desensitized me that I wasn't even all that surprised by any of that.

Of course a preacher is involved. Why wouldn't he be? There's nothing more morally upright than 24-on-1 dating. :o

And none of it seemed scripted at all.

NONE OF IT!

The whole notion of these dating shows is so stupid to me. I mean...

Man/Woman at the center: "Dating is so hard... I guess I better have 20-plus women/men compete for my attention 24 hours a day."
Competitors: "Dating is so hard... why just date one man/woman when I can compete for a small percentage of their time?! Ahahaha!!!"

at least the whole millionare dating shows give the competitors a reason.

A reason called prostitution.

Plus are we really suppose to believe that all these hot people can't find "love''? Esp when they don't care to be sticking their tongues down everyones throats.

Wow! Just wow! Between this, Preachers of LA, and TBN, and you wonder why churches are so f-ed up these days.

It's ironic that by denouncing the show they are giving it much needed press that otherwise would have left it in obscurity and quickly, quietly cancelled when absolutely no one tuned into it.

Yeah, only Underwood, Clarkson, and Hudson are superstars. Daughtry, Lambert, McPhee (who doesn't even freaking sing), Fantasia, and Pickler are the others who are actually famous. We'll see about Phillip Phillips.

Basically, American Idol is a damn waste of time.
You're late to the party, I've known this for years.

USA seems to be cleaning house. Has Royal Pains been cancelled?

Good for them. I stopped watching but it was a decent show. Same with White Collar. They just couldnt keep my attention for multiple seasons

I love Suits. So I have that one for now. I am looking forward to Dig though.

I was hoping Covert has one more season in it. The transition to the darker tone was abrupt in season 4, but they seem to have found their footing in 5.

Glad to hear Royal is sticking around. Still a very fun show.

I still can't believe how long I stuck with Royal Pains (3-4 seasons, I don't feel like checking), definitely well past the point where I could explain to anyone what I liked about it or what the show was even about, since by then they'd drifted so far from the original case-of-the-week premise into a general character-based soap. In that regard, I can't help but be impressed they've stuck it out for this long, since I don't even know what was there that would attract new viewers besides the vague promise of likeable characters and some medical jargon.

I stopped watching Royal Pains in the first season intending to catch up on it later. I'm just as surprised they carried it on this long since I didn't think they could last with that premise for more than a season or two.

Any show involving a doctor can last for decades if they want. The possibilities regarding illnesses are endless.

Pilot Season is coming...

Fox Development: What's Hot in Comedy, Drama
by Lacey Rose 1/8/2015 8:00am PDT

With pilot season poised to begin, all eyes are on Fox.

The choices made in the next month or so will not only be an indication of what the upcoming season will look like, but also of where the new regime, led by Gary Newman and Dana Walden, would like to take the fourth-place network. The pair added the broadcast network to their expansive portfolio in late July, and turning it around is mission No. 1.

In a series of wide-ranging interviews for this week's Hollywood Reporter cover story, the partners, along with their newly installed entertainment president David Madden, talked broadly about the programs — family comedies, genre dramas, House-style procedurals -- and producer-centric ethos that they'd like to bring to the network. But what exactly that means will become clearer with time, and several series orders.

Below are eight development projects generating internal heat as their first batch of pickups loom.

COMEDY:

UNTITLED SCOTT SILVERI
A personal comedy from Friends' Silveri, which centers on a family that's good at handling the challenges it faces -- and excellent at creating new ones.

UNTITLED ROB RIGGLE
Based on the Austrian comedy titled Braunschlag, it follows the quirky inhabitants of a small, struggling town whose mayor (Riggle) is prepared to do anything to save his community.

FANTASY LIFE
An adaptation of ESPN analyst Matthew Berry's best-selling book by the same name, the comedy stars Kevin Connolly as a regular guy who lands his dream job working in the fantasy sports department at a major sports network.

UNTITLED JOHN STAMOS
A half-hour that follows a longtime bachelor (Stamos) whose life is upended when he discovers he's a father and a grandfather.

DRAMA:

MINORITY REPORT
The futuristic Amblin drama is envisioned as a sequel to the 2002 Tom Cruise film. It's set 10 years after the end of "precrime" in D.C., and has been fast-tracked at the network.

GLOBAL FREQUENCY
Jerry Bruckheimer's DC Comics adaptation will chronicle the workings of a privately funded crime-fighting operation that uses worldwide crowd-sourcing to solve cases that the police cannot.

LUCIFER
A second DC drama centers on Lucifer, who, bored and unhappy as the Lord of Hell, resigns his throne and abandons his kingdom for Los Angeles, where he opens an exclusive piano bar called Lux.

LUTHER
A U.S. rendition of the BBC detective drama, with series creator Neil Cross and original star Idris Elba on board as executive producers.
I had assumed that all/most of those comedies would me multicam, but it seems most are single camera. This pleases me.

Need Riverdale to be on that list of dramas, though. :o
