So pretty much all the ABC favorites are staying, like all the Wednesday and Thursday shows?

Yes all the strong, successful shows have already been renewed.

Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays have been stable for ABC. The problems the past few years have been Sundays and Tuesdays.

Castle is a slight surprise since they had made contracts to for half the cast to return, rarely does a network then change their mind to pull the plug.

I think that perhaps they thought that the backlash over Stana leaving wasn't worth it just to have the show limp along for maybe one more season, perhaps. Better to end it now.

i enjoyed second chances it was ok show i just hate agent carter got canceled!! i enjoyed agent carter more then Agents of shield!!

i also liked to add cbs is canceling person of interest not really sure if there canceling it but this is there last seaon! i also enjoyed csi cyber!! it was good show!! the family is good too it was ok show!! i hope they pick up quantico i enjoyed that show!! it kind of like csi meets the hunger games!!

Wonder if Bobbi and Hunter will return to AOS or if Disney will take Most Wanted to Netflix? If ABC cancels AOS hopefully Disney moves it to Netflix too. To hell with ABCs family friendly mentality. I want AOS with R rated action!

Man! Muppets, Castle, and Agent Carter. Those are 3 shows I actually enjoy watching. I'm sad about Muppets and Agent Carter, but it was time for Castle to end so I'm okay with that.

Netflix doesnt have to worry about crowding because they are a streaming service not a tv network that has to worry about time slots. They can do as many Marvel shows as they can afford whether that be 5 marvel shows or 15 marvel shows.

It is like Bizarro world. CW gives another season to most their shows while ABC smothers many of theirs with pillows while whispering go to sleep.

Well they probably can't afford 15 as they also have award winning non-Marvel series to pay for. Plus shield is off-brand for what they offer from Marvel's grittier serialized side. If it doesn't tie into The Defenders, Netflix don't want it.

Barely a whimper. Cancelling that garbage was a mercy for all the actors involved.

Checking out Deadline I see that Undateable was cancelled for a second time. They really made a go at the third season by doing it live twice in a night (East and West coast feeds). Too bad about it.

Very much shocked that Sleepy Hollow managed to sneak in a renewal for season 4... whether to watch it or not depends heavily on what their direction is with it. Leaning towards not doing so because of how they treated Beharie but I also really liked Mison's role too.
