Of all the shows greenlit so far, the only one that seems interesting is Training Day and that's mainly because I liked the movie. Other than that, I just don't see anything worthwhile.

Damn. I thought Undateable was a fun show. The live show were bananas at times.

They broke the fourth wall many times and it was funny. More shows should give it a try.

Well they probably can't afford 15 as they also have award winning non-Marvel series to pay for. Plus shield is off-brand for what they offer from Marvel's grittier serialized side. If it doesn't tie into The Defenders, Netflix don't want it.

I wonder what the breaking point for Netflix price raising will be. They have to pay for all those series and the don't really release DVD cause that would hurt the idea of streaming.

The past couple days have been the Red Wedding for television shows.

They lost 2.5 million viewers moving from Tuesdays, with a lead in, to Fridays as a self starter.

They just showed up at the wrong time when NBC had no comedy brand and no comedy shows either. Looks like they're finally doing a proper rebuild this fall.

They put out DVDs but who would buy one for $25 or $30 when you can just pay $9 for a month?

Wow, 05/12/2016. It was as if thousands of voices suddenly cried out in terror and were suddenly silenced. That is a lot of cancellations and a lot of crew who lost their jobs.

All the job postings go up next week with 40 new shows being ordered.

Netflix is also selective in what shows they save. You don't want to be known as the place where failed shows go. The Killing was saved for 6 episodes to give it a proper ending since they had the rights for the previous seasons and Longmire reaches an older audience that A&E didn't want but Netflix doesn't care about demos. Is the small audience for AoS going to attract or retain subscribers? Or are they better off using

CBS Orders 'Training Day,' 'MacGyver,' Katims Dramas; Matt LeBlanc, Joel McHale Comedies to Series

They changed the title of Matt LeBlanc's new show from I'm Not Your Friend to Man With a Plan? F***ing CBS, that first one was actually clever.

Fits with their very generic comedy names from the past few years:

2 Broke Girls, Mom, We Are Men, Partners, The Millers, Mike & Molly

Limitless is actually a pretty fun show.

Won't happen. The Netflix verse is already quite crowded.

But I agree AOS will be cancelled next year.

That's why they should set the next season a couple of years in the future that ties into Avengers: Infinity Wars.

Agent Carter and Galavant did ok for shows that were originally intended to be limited run or mini series type deals

shows rise and fall

still mad at ABC for 'Better Off Ted'

If it's too female for CBS, that's really saying something. I don't know any males that watch anything on CBS except football and Big Bang.

Nancy Drew reboot dead at CBS.

Funny that it's a thing that something can be deemed "too female" for a network to air it.
If a show skews too heavily female, it risks losing advertising dollars for not drawing in enough males. Shows can't last without a better split. Plus it sounds like there just weren't any open 8 or 9 PM timeslots for the show. It is still being shopped around so it may appear elsewhere.

Edit: Also found a site that reviewed the pilot and they said it missed entirely what Nancy Drew is and made her boring.

And yet they are giving Katherine Heigl's series an order. It must not be another romcom. :o

And that makes sense why it went nowhere. Better they not Rush Hour it and make a series based on a existing one in name only that will get cancelled before it has a chance to ruin the name further.
