Cancelled shows of Tomorrow: The War on Chuck Lorre - Part 9

Honestly, even though it only started three years ago, Fresh off the Boat feels closer to the end of its run than the beginning. Eddie Huang pretty much disowning the show started it off on the wrong foot. While Randall Park, Constance Wu and the kid who plays Evan have made the show enjoyable, I can't see it going on much longer with the Friday move.

The most popular Fresh off the Boat cast members are getting high profile movie roles anyway so they will be ok if the show ends.

Randall Park has upcoming roles in Ant-Man & The Wasp, Aquaman and Seth Rogen/Charlize Theron comedy Flarsky.

Constance Wu is starring in the much buzzed movie Crazy Rich Asians.

Ian Chen (Evan) is playing Eugene Choi in DC's Shazam!

I see Cagney and Lacey wasn't picked up for series order.

I thought that was a shame. But then I saw that it starred Michelle Hurd as Lacey. That's probably a good thing it wasn't picked up then. I'm bored of watching her, especially in Blindspot recently and occasionally in Lethal Weapon and Hawaii Five-0.

I would've preferred other actresses in the Cagney and Lacey roles. Maybe they can revamp the idea and then try it again, especially if no-one saw this new pilot.

And why did they cast someone so old anyway? I would've thought they would've gone with younger actresses this time round. Michelle Hurd is 51. Sarah Drew (who would've played Cagney) is 37.

Now 37 would've been okay, but 51 seems a bit old. Why couldn't they get actresses in their early to mid 30s?

CN is doing a new Thundercats show. Thundercats Roar.

Think, Teen Titans Go, but worse. It needs to die in a fire.

With all the reboots that we seem to be getting, it feels like I'm still watching the same old TV shows decades later.

Sadly not. The one they tried several years back was a nice revival but it was cancelled. So now it is go with the Titans Go! get some lazy animation style instead.

Well maybe not so much lazy as terrible.

It just makes them look stupid to try to cancel it because they dont want any backlash for the show being to dark but they are fine with trying to get someone to take it off of their hands so they can still make money off of it?

Can't help thinking we dodged a bullet there.

I like Inbar Lavi. Ah well.

Shadowhunters has been cancelled, but the remaining unaired episodes are still coming and they're doing a 2 hour finale to wrap up the show.

At least they're filming a finale for it for the show's fans. Wish Agent Carter would have gotten that treatment :o

I think they renewed it before the third season premiere even aired.

Probably no surprise to anyone that Trial & Error has been cancelled (according to epguides.)

This thread needs a bump. Z Nation, Midnight, Texas and a lot of other stuff have been cancelled since August.

Criminal Minds has been renewed for a 15th (and final) season by CBS:

‘Criminal Minds’ to End With Season 15

The final season will consist of 10 episodes. The final 10 episodes will be shot back-to-back with the Season 14 episodes currently in production. With the final 10 episodes, the show will have aired 325 episodes when it ends its run, making it one of the longest-running shows in television history
