Terry loves yogurt.

It has a piece of feces as a lead in, which is bad news for such a good and funny show.

Fox needs to get their ***** for Seth MacFarlane under control. That show of theirs has been nothing but a parasite on Brooklyn Nine-Nine, slowly robbing it of its life force.

Man, Modern Family has really hit the skids. It's nowhere near the show it used to be. It's like the writers stopped trying after their Emmy winning streak.

The sad part is, you know they'll probably get an Emmy win anyway.

Of course, because in the case of comedies, Emmy voters probably don't even pay attention to the shows and only vote for what they think is popular. In actuality, the shows that should win for Best Comedy aren't even nominated. *cough*It'sAlwaysSunnyInPhiladelphia*cough*

I got sent the first few episodes of the new season of Comic Book Men. Gee, thanks. Now I can get an early start on actively avoiding it.
It's funny when they're ragging on Ming but I thought this show would be about them talking about comics and analyzing the state of how comics have evolved since their creation with the occasional guest appearance of a comic writer/artist, like maybe get Frank Miller or John Byrne and chat with them.

But it's clearly a poor imitation of every other reality crap like Pawn Stars, Storage Wars.

I beg to differ on Modern Family. I find it just as funny now as I did back when I first started watching it

Tonight on NBC:

- Parks and Recreation
- Piece of Crap 1
- Piece of Crap Starring Sean Hayes
- Michael J Fox Show
- Parenthood

I'm sure Sean Hayes is a very nice guy, but if his show does better than Parks and Rec tonight, I'm going to kick some ass. That **** looks turrible. :o

Topher Grace & Sarah Silverman Topline HBO Comedy Pilot ‘People In New Jersey’
By NELLIE ANDREEVA

HBO has tapped Topher Grace, Sarah Silverman and Patti Lupone for People In New Jersey, its half-hour comedy pilot written by Bruce Eric Kaplan, directed by Paul Feig and executive produced by Lorne Michaels. The project is described as a hilarious, poignant look at life today as seen through the prism of an adult brother and sister (Grace, Silverman) living in New Jersey. Carl Levin (Grace) is an affable locksmith who has a definite idea of how things and people should be and when the world doesn’t conform to his vision, he resists mightily. His sister Melanie (Silverman) is a former management consultant and a closet optimist who now works part-time at a department store. Their opinionated widowed mother Rachel (Lupone) focuses a lot of her energy on worrying about her children and why neither has settled down in a relationship. HBO, Broadway Video and Feigco Entertainment are producing, with Kaplan, Michaels, Andrew Singer and Feig exec producing, Ilene Landress serving as supervising producer and Jessie Henderson and Gina Heyman as producers. Grace, repped by ICM Partners, Brillstein Entertainment and Michael Gendler, is shooting Chris Nolan’s Interstellar.
I never thought I'd say this, but Silverman is the one I'm most excited about. I loved her guest role on The League, she was hilarious.

First one down.

No surprise there.

Definitely no surprise here. Not only did it look lackluster, but it had an expiration date anyways.

How long can you drag out the story of people who won the lottery? Unless each season would've focused on a different winner(s) of a different lotto?

I knew from the moment I saw the trailer that it wouldn't make it past one season, if that. Honestly, what was ABC thinking? Did they think they could make it work somehow?

Honestly, it was an idea better suited for a film than a tv series.

It wasn't at all a bad idea, but it just doesn't work for a tv series.

Well America has spoken, they'll watch Robin Williams over Sean Hayes.

NBC Parks and Recreation 1.2/4 3.14
NBC Welcome to the Family - Series Premiere 1.1/4 2.99
NBC Sean Saves the World - Series Premiere 1.4/4 4.43
NBC The Michael J. Fox Show 1.7/5 5.35

NBC clung to their great comedies for too long on Thursdays and now I don't know how they make Thursday competitive.

And Fox isn't looking good either. This has to be the last season of The X-Factor, which would open 3 hours of television for next year.
FOX The X Factor 2.0/6 7.00
FOX Glee 1.6/5 4.42

ABC and CBS are still doing okay but there has to be concern from CBS about Elementary's 2.0 in the demo. Or that just a lot of Nielsen homes have a DVR. I don't have a Nielsen box but to keep up with these shows live

lol as if that was ever even a question... Williams vs. MJF was the big debate, and we saw how that turned out last week.

I happen to like them both and watch both.

I agree, but in terms of numbers, only one could win.

I thought with Will & Grace his show would debut to better numbers. 6 million and over 2 on the demo.

With the entire Thursday night lineup all but a giant sinkhole, #SixSeasonsAndAMovie looks better and better. Also Happy Endings season four would've done better than WTTF. Oh well. I can watch Parks and Community and walk away. Fox's show is a better fit with ABC, needs more laughs not sure if it has the potential to be a great sitcom. Brooklyn 9-9 is the strongest comedy this fall, but also in ratings trouble.

Of course, but fortunately, when Crazy Ones ends, I turn to NBC for the MJF Show.

That's the weird thing. They're in different timeslots, but it's like NBC decided "Hey, lets make Fox's premiere an hour long... so the audience has to CHOOSE!" They couldn't have just left well enough alone, they had to put one anticipated return to TV against another.
