I'm not gonna go quote mining, dude - you know this in your heart to be true.

I have never complained about teh realisms in comics. I have just prefered it for the movies.

In any case i enjoyed the "realism" seen in the Ironman movie. Had they grounded it in reality, his suit would look like crap and he wouldnt be doing all the stunts he did.
But on the other side, i dont want a movie with batman using boomtubes to trace his evil clone in another dimension while superman fights superman prime who stole bizzaro's *** who is best friends with Kal-L. Cause that would be ****. It would be **** in the movies, as its **** in the comics. Final crisis and ****!

Just saying, that keeping things into perspective and grounding them into our reality a bit isnt bad. But on the other hand, you dont need to apply pads on batman.

i think that for a comic book the suit looks ok ...cause its drawn ....for a movie it should have more substance....

in the comics the suit wich is normal clothing.....looks interesting cause of all the muscles you can draw, otherwise it would just be flat and dull ...of course bale is ripped ...but thinking about adam west....the comic book version just looked silly....so if you have an actor wich aint a normalo...the clothing would need to be so thin...theres is no eye cathing thing otherwise...so they need to add more forming details ...like substance to make it look more intense....the suit itself needs his own characteristics...

I'm just gonna throw this out there as an idea maybe this has been said on here, but maybe the design of this suit is meant to look like this as somewhat of an unfinished product since it seems as though Bruce kinda springs it on to Lucious that he needs a new suit. I can't imagine that Lucious just has a new prototype batsuit lying around ready to go(or maybe he does and this completely ruins the whole idea). And Bruce probably doesn't have the spare time like he did in Begins to develop and put the finishing touches on this suit that he would probably like to since the Joker is rampaging around gotham. What I'm ultimately saying is that what we could be looking at is a rough version of the final suit that will be used in the final movie of this trilogy. Same with the batmobile, since the tumbler is destroyed I can't imagine we will get the same thing in the next instalment, it will probably be something different.

that manip is awesome, change the emblem to look more like the one in begins and maybe add something more to the torso and that would be perfect for the next film. awesome cowl by the way

for what i meant...is that the 89 batman movie had a protective suit wich looked like fake muscles ....it resembled the comics and also made him look like a super human, something out of this world...now for the fact that in begins bruce uses something for what was made for the army(wich does not have to look stylish but has a purpose to achieve) on wich he added the style to follow his own purpose ,makes it clear for me that his suit dosent has been invented to resemble anything he wants to ...so he ads the bat logo and off it goes....cause like as mentioned in the post of batman_182 there is not much time like in begins to rasp along the look of it;-)

ok so did not get what i was trying to say??? here it goes a second time....bat suit in batman 89 had these fake muscles wich resembled the look of the comic books....ok??
good;-) for begins he needed to take something wich wasnt resembling a certain look but has a purpose of its own....
to make this work for bruces purpose he needed to modify it ...so it becomes more batman like....
as for the dark knight, he will not have the time to do so much work on it...but the suit is a more combat like kind of thing wich helps him out....so far so good ??? if not.... I'll be back

the other thing is....even if the suits arent looking like in the comis, they still have style...even if it wasnt mentioned to have...well of course not fo theyr purpose,cause combat suits dont need to look good at first place of course ..........but even then its good looking(IMO)
