Lol but sometimes people think way too much. :hehe:

Yet, more often, not enough. :csad:

I really don't understand the new batsuit. So far for me it's turning out to be the weakest "innovation" for the movie. Though, I didn't really notice the flaws (i.e. puffiness) of the batsuit in begins, all the promo shots of the batsuit for TDK make it look distracting and strange. He really is turning into Tankman...

This suit takes the "Bat" out of Batman.

yeah, everyone knows bats don't wear boots. way to retain realism, nolan...

Totally agree. Can't wait to trade in my 360 and get MGS4 btw. Yeah but the shoulders on this new suit definitely lend themselves to MGS.
i'm liking the suit more and more each day. there are some strong similarities on tdk suit and the suit snake wears in mgs4. btw, i love the new metal gear! i can't get enough of it!now if we could get a batman game just like it......

Why not? He beat Sniper Wolf and Big Boss beat that one uber sniper too. If the man can take down a Metal Gear, he can beat Dead Shot.
I agree. Snake is pretty damn pro. Speaking of which its time to play more MG!

Indeed. Personally, I use forums mostly as a vehicle to design and test my ideas. You end up thinking about a lot of things you wouldn't otherwise consider.
What ideas might those be?
Wow double whammy. I agree with both you and BF lol. This type of outlet is great to get you thinking in ways you ordinarily wouldn't. Cheers to you both.
Its also a good way of communicating our opinions towards the studios. For example, they got the message on the nipples or the choppy fights in BB.

Actually, Favreau said once (when making Ironman) that even though noone admits it, everybody is looking on the internet to see the fan's reactions. They do get feedback. So keep *****ing!

You are welcome to read my posts and find out.
You mean you design and apply ideas on the various ways of discussion?
Ideas about batman?
Ideas about .....?

"I design and apply ideas...in a discussion forum."

*cough* posture.....

Ideas about whatever the discussion may be on. I'm hard pressed to see how relating my personal motivation for participating in these discussions is posturing. Furthermore, you misquoted me--possibly because you were too busy looking for a chance to make me look silly, when you should have been attempting to understand what I actually wrote. I said "design and test," not "design and apply." That means I use the ideas and opinions of others to help me figure out what my own are (hence "design"), and I use the opposition to challenge those ideas (hence "test"), to determine whether or not the ideas or opinions are sound.

As an example, many of my current ideas about religion are the direct result of having spent years arguing about it on the internet--those discussions required that I think about the subject in ways that would have not been necessary, otherwise. Under my normal conditions, I would have never been exposed to the ideas that affected the way I think about religion, and I never would have been challenged on those ideas I previously held.

Likewise, on a lighter note, many of the ideas I have about Batman and the Joker came out of discussions I've had on this forum, with a handful of individuals--or at least evolved from ideas I already had, in ways that wouldn't have occurred if those ideas weren't discussed or challenged here.

Well at first i was intrigued to know but you didnt explain and i found the quote "design and test" a bit....yeah.... It seemed like you were trying to present "geeking out in a superhero forum" as a scientific experiment. My intentions werent to make you look silly though.

But now that you made it clear i see what you mean and i think that you are right. Most people with an open mind can profit from a good conversation. Its why we're here for, right?

Sorry for the misunderstanding.

Not a problem.

About teh skinny neck:

Man, you guys really know how to use pics & make good joke out of it. :hehe:

The suit looks pretty good in that interrogation scene. It doesn't feel as "busy" as on some other pictures imo.

I agree. It look "less busy" on film than pics. Even some pics made it look silly. Thankfully it looking better & better with each new clip of it on trailers.

I'm aware that this is an unpopular opinion, but lately the thing I have been liking the most about the new suit is the symbol. At first I hated it, but now I kinda like how it blends in and curves in the middle of the chest piece.

it takes a while, but the suit grows on you, personally I dislike the curved in bat logo, but its than no logo at all

They should have kept the thick neck in this costume and just tried to make it more mobile and flexible instead of making Batman look like a skinny chicken

The reason why it's skinny is to MAKE it mobile and flexible. They couldn't do that with the thick neck otherwise they would have. =/
