That figure improves upon a few design issues with the batsuit, particularly the legs.

I think the legs/boots are about the only improvement over TDK suit. The chest looks like he's wearing an armored halter top, the neck piece looks like a crash victim's brace and his rib cage looks unprotected.

I'd also like to point out that this figure corrects the one pointless flaw of the actual suit.

Yes, clearly the real problem with the suit, is not that the chestplate is shaped like a pair of double D's, but that they have omitted the ever popular rubber nipples.

So far I am really digging the suit and it's design. The "look" fits in better with the universe and tech gadgetry than a cloth suit does to me, whether that cloth suit is technologically advanced and can stop bullets or not. The only thing I'm unsure about is the way the neck looks, which is a bit odd from the side and back. It doesn't blend well with the surround parts and kind of calls attention to it. Looks like a skinny neck brace from some angles. Anyways who cares! On to the movie! (waits for the 18th)
