I understand if you don't like the look of the suit, but putting the fabric over it would be asinine. By doing so, you loose all mobility, and proper protection that the fabric is used for. Its very much the same way a Knight used to suit up. If he put the chain-mail over his armor, then he would loose all mobility, and maybe have everything slip off. Its for practicality, not aesthetics.God, up close it looks even worse. And, seeing how thick the fabric underneath is, it seems asinine to me that they couldn't have put it over the 'armor'.

Gotcha. Yeah, I've seen some really impressive manips by Bunk that had something that you're describing. It actually looked really cool too.Hmm. Perhaps a third layer of spandex like material - something like that.
