judging from the hbo first look we will see a lot more of the first suit then we thought (well thats what it seemed like, lots of the new footage showed the first suit)

Its right before he flies out the back of the train in Begins

yeah it wasnt supposed to be literall lenses just to point out what they couldave looked like

looks good no?

Wow we truly have genuises among us here. Don't wonder why they don't take the fanboys seriously...:wow::whatever:

It would great if Fox said "here are some new lenses I invented Bruce, they help you see in the dark and protect your eyes from grit and even better, they're totally invisible see?"

Completely forgot about that quick shot. That's almost exactly how I'd want contacts/lenses to look, if implemented.

Looks eerie and demonic.

I agree 100% with ya on that one Crook. I hope how the lenses look in the film itself will look better than that shot in the newer trailer.

One thing that I like about this new suit is that it makes Batman's head look smaller and somewhat proportionate, where as the last one made his head look way too huge.

I liked the "panther neck" of the old suit, but I like fact this suit allows flexibility and head turning. However I would like to see the armor pieces look less busy.

God, up close it looks even worse. And, seeing how thick the fabric underneath is, it seems asinine to me that they couldn't have put it over the 'armor'.

And, that neck. Yeesh.

I understand if you don't like the look of the suit, but putting the fabric over it would be asinine. By doing so, you loose all mobility, and proper protection that the fabric is used for. Its very much the same way a Knight used to suit up. If he put the chain-mail over his armor, then he would loose all mobility, and maybe have everything slip off. Its for practicality, not aesthetics.

Agreed.

You know what would probably look really cool and play into the 'creature aspect' of Batman. If there were a fabric of some sort over the armor; nothing crazy or over elaborat(could be explained as something to regulate the temperature). Then as he is in fight it tears and reveal portions of the armor underneath so its like exposed bones.
I'm sure similar things ahve been discussed but that image I think would look really interesting on film.

Hmm. Perhaps a third layer of spandex like material - something like that.

Ya know, it took me a while to realise what I was looking at up there.

Gotcha. Yeah, I've seen some really impressive manips by Bunk that had something that you're describing. It actually looked really cool too.:cwink:

So... is there any explanation to the batbra?

It's carbon fiber spot reinforcement, more like real life body armor than that sculpted rubber suit crap. They usually use it to make the reinforcement plates for cops vests because it's lighter than the ceramic insert plates.
