Well what really bothered me was the way the masks were resting on their faces. (the domino kind of masks) It just doesn't look quite right.
Even Comedian? I agree that it looks horrendous on Veidt, but for Comedian I think it looks as best it can get.

Veidt is the worest, but I think the Comedian looks awful. Manhatten in that picture also looks half-assed but the trailer he looks amazing.

My god, Nite-Owl looks perfect in the Watchmen trailer.

That's all I have to say. :o

Me personally the suit looked really great in the film. Buts WTF is up with Batman laying down on the floor like everytime he falls from a height?

I just saw a brand new DK TV Spot I believe. Bruce Wayne on a boat...

Is it me, or does Batman's cowl make him look like he has chubby cheeks? lol

I'm not trying to be a crazy fanboy, cause that's really not my nature, but there are scenes where Batman looks great in it and scenes (like the interrogation), where Batman just looks like a kid from fat-camp.

I love the fact that Batman can now turn his neck, but the cowl should be more flat and square. That's something Schumacher's films got right with the costume.

The suit was really great in the movie, so much so that I can barely find anything to complain about. It worked so much better in the fight scenes, and even the scenes where Batman speaks. The cowl was sick and rarely, if ever, looked like a "lightbulb".

The whole suit looked great, but I disagree about the lightbulb comment (lol, that's a perfect way to describe it).

He looks like he has a chunky head.

the flashing glowing eyes were a bit much for me but i still loved it.

I'm impressed at how form-fitting they managed to get the Nite-Owl cowl. Who knows if he can turn his head or not, but if he can, well, then that might be a good way to try a Batman cowl.

The Watchmen trailer is out--even though it Empire took it down, you can DL it here. Nite-Owl looks cool in it; I was sort of surprised. Doesn't look as stiff as he did in the first picture.

The trailer has determined for me that, following Nolan's films, I will require a Zack Snyder Batman film. DKR is the obvious choice, but a Knightfall or No Man's Land adaptation would rock my socks off, too. Any number of other stories would be great, as well.

I want an Alfonso Cuaron Year One and a Guillermo del Toro... well I don't know, but a GDT Batman movie. I would actually really like if they could continue the current series with the same actors but in a different visual style
though ****ing killing Dent limits a lot of possibilities, ****ing Nolan
.

If the ears stood up straighter instead of pointing forward, they'd eliminate some of the lightbulb look

The suit owned and the bat lenses were awesome in the movie I dont know how people can still complain this was the best Batman suit period.

I thought the lenses looked quite goofy in that one TV spot but they looked cool in the film, no issues with the suit in the film's context

The lenses were awesome, however just as it boasted its advantages, the film also presented its dissadvantages. if Bat's lenses go haywire and he cant remove it right away, that would be a very large vulnerability that his enemies will take advantage of, just like what Joker did.

I agree. Once I though that the shoulder pads looked goofy but within the films context it looked fine.

He looks like he can turn his head fairly well in the EW photo.

Yeah - it's form-fitting. It looks like it's not much more than a few mm thick all over except for the more sculpted elements like the brows and ears. His head isn't noticeably bigger than if he were wearing a fabric hood.

Funny how they (seemingly) solved the age old problem of Batman's cowl by, you know, simply sculpting it as it is drawn in the bloody comics (as being form fitting) rather than making it about an inch too thick all over. The TDK headpiece is an improvement over TDK but there's no reason Batman's cowl couldn't look more like Batman's cowl, Nite Owl proves it (as do other Batcowls people have made).

I really liked the lenses but i really disliked the sonar vision (where is pans from floor to floor). It felt kind of video-game-ish

I thought the cape being behind him altered his look entirely. I very much missed the flowing cape.

I thought the suit looked fine in the movie. Most of the time it was in the dark, and so you never really even noticed the weird leg design.

I wonder where in the movie the scene of Batman running on top of cop cars would have been.

The cape looked to be draped over his shoulder in one shot at the end where he's talking to Dent before he gets shot. I may have imagined it.

I thought the lenses looked pretty cool in the movie. The slid away and came back just how I imagined they would. Now they just need to be used for typical night vision as well.
