No one bite my head off at my idea , buttttttt......
could we not keep the suit in TDK, make the chainmail underneath black, and then the armour over the top can be dark grey, with the begins emble on the front in black ( looks better than tdk one) and then make the cowl black( with the ouside of the cape blending into it and looking seamless like in the comics) and then have the boots and glove areas black and then a hush kind of belt ????

kind of gives the best of both worlds looks comic-esqe withthe practical and beilevable side from the films?

a manip of that would be kickass to see what it looks like

yes they can...and this is good ....on the less, its a movie ...of course bale will sweat....but for reasoning in the movie itself it will work...beeing more a fighting suit highly durable and so on.....at least it looks like that ....

would have be could have be...manip it, be happy or write WB your point of view...
not that i dont like it...
but we cant change it ...
we just discuss it;-)

Can everyone at least agree that all the Batsuits have their own, individual design flaws (except for Adam West's, obviously)? Keaton's were so stiff that the guy had to scissor his whole body if he wanted to kick someone. Schumacher's were, well, you know. Begins had rubbermaid gloves (I have a lease with an option to buy), and TDK has a thin neck and feels a bit too busy.

In fact, I think all the Batsuits look super-lame under the wrong lighting. Maybe it's because anyone would look like a moron walking around like that in the real world. As much as Nolan stresses realism, it's still filmed through a comic book lens.

@monk
so you are aware that the lightning wont make looking the suit bad ass enough??? what gives you that impression anyway?

I wasn't saying that at all. I like the suit for the most part. I was just saying that all the suits are flawed in certain ways.

well of course it looks silly without the right atmosphere around and yes every suit had his own style....it just sounded like a complain.... cause it was mentioned so many times that the suit only looks good when its lightend out good ...im mean if someone s walking around in real life with a suit comparable to the movie, in wich it will look good...even in not dark places like the negotiation room....

Actually, I like the suit because it makes sense that a guy would want to wear something like that for combat.

The only issue I have is that it's not as frightening as the one in Begins. They spent all that time focusing on how Batman needs to strike fear into the hearts of criminals, yet they go for something more functional and less frightening. I'm pretty confident that it will work in the context of the movie, though.

it aint not frightening as begins but it will work in the dark knight???? i dont get it ...sorry
begins suit or dark knight suit weard by anyone in real life always can make you look silly...but not for batfans of course;-)

I'm just curious to see how it's justified for him to move away from the fear aspect to something smaller.

so am i:-) i mean begins explained everything in a plausible manner .....so far as possible;-)
except for the vapored chemicals wich havnt streamed out of a shower head or something like that:-)

well Guard is right that Batsuits are hot as hell, I have a complete replica of the 89 suit and you can loose pounds of water weight in one night

if only the wii fit could have a batsuit included, people would be shedding pounds in no time

they're also rather uncomfortable, it gives me a stiff neck and back since I can't move either very much. The look however, is totally worth it

never weared a batsuit but i have a stiff neck for four days now...tell you that aint funny....its like a backbone is out of allignment :-(

"Good for you!!! Keep saying it then, your posts will rise and rise, think if you say it everyday until TDk comes out you'll have 56 more posts!"

Joy! Youre a baby.Youre the one who called me out for "repeating what was popular lately". If you didnt want a response you should have kept your piehole shut. Or maybe I shoudl just agree with everything you say. Everyone has a opinion. I havent been wandering the boards repeating that - it was a response to the thread. Maybe everyone who disagrees with you shouldnt post. How about that.

That suit is way too busy. Look at the neckline where the cape tucks behind the chest piece. Lots of fancy Gigerish ribbing that have no functioning purpose other than to look cool. To me thats bad design. The symbol and chest piece. Again it servs no purpose to have that V extra piece going across the chest and it completly minimizes the bat symbol. That suit is more intricate and busy than Iron Mans suit.

So go change youre huggies.

And this movie will rock despite that suit stinking.

Im basically done here since some of the girls here cant stand a difference of opinion without a rant.
