I always wonder what that gun is used for? Ever since I saw it in this pic. Its hanging on the racks in the pic below.

Even with that safety line, it must have been pretty nerve-wracking for Bale there though.

I justed wanted to post this and whine about how:

1) Batman is under so much light. It should be darker. But mostly:
2) Batman is shorter than Gordon and Dent! Even in the puffy Begins suit, he looks small there! I know its down to Bale (Neeson was double his height! My god!) but they could put heels on the suit (to be taken out whenever they would be visible of course) . GODDAMNIT!

In other words, Batman should look otherworldly there, not like a sorry geek in a halloween costume. I know that in the movie he is gonna be kickass but still, he should be more imposing and fearsome. Judging from this pic Dent could kick his ass!

Yeah, I saw a couple comments about how short Batman is in the other photo. Did no one notice he's standing furthest back by like six feet in that shot?

looks like some kind of grenade launcher , when he's opening the closet thing in the trailer you can see what looks like 402mm grenades on the same rack

Just a note on why the picture on the roof and with Dent and Gordon are so bright. Maybe Nolan shot it that way for detail and then darkened it to his liking. Shooting day for night is not uncommon and usually yields better looking colors..

I wasn't sure how the "backpack cape" was gonna look, but in the one shot it looks nice, not too bulky, the whole suit is really starting to grow more and more on me, kinda wish the Batpod would.

Whoa!! I thought they would use a stunt man up there instead of Bale. He way up high in the building & that a big risk with where he is standing. I applaud Bale for this, 'cause I'm terrified of height & might have a panic attack if I has to shoot my scene up there.

And cool pics. The suit is looking better & better with few new pics.

Now you re talking! Hells yeah! Batman should be a monster! Thank god! For all those that make fun of my previous comment, well i gotta say that bale isnt short, but he isnt a basketball player either. So i was kinda concerned whether dent would be taller and more imposing.
I want to see Dent's reaction to batman and his suit!!! OMG i cannot wait!

To be honest i wouldnt let the stuntman do it either! I mean this is amazing! I'd really like to base jump from there!
