Why not?Either way, that tagline was not a smart move.
Yea, I forget the director usually has no say in the marketing department.
Either way, that tagline was not a smart move.
I doubt it too. I'm sure the International trailer will be alittle different.I doubt that tagline will air outside of the US
Why not?
That tagline does not exclude other countries. Captain America is a hero. He was made in America. Therefore heroes are made in America.
I don't see what there is to get up in arms about. But I would expect nothing less from the internet.
A little tagline is not going to stop people from going to the movie. If someone thinks the movie looks good they'll see it, some little tagline isn't going to stop them. Stupid to even think that.

You'd be surprised. That's marketing for you...
And you've done a fine job misinterpreting it.
In case you didn't know, America is not the world's most favorite country at the present moment.
The tagline may not exclude, but it can be misinterpreted. That's MY point.
Actually Im pretty sure all the superheroes were actually made in america
And you've done a fine job misinterpreting it.
"Oh gee im not going to see CAPTAIN AMERICA because the tagline didnt give proper respect to the other countries that helped take down he Axis in WW2."
