What I love most about this clip, is the agility. I think so many people wanted Cap to be uber buff and do amazing feats of strength, when that is not Cap's style. THIS is Cap's style! He is agile, resourceful, quick, fluid, and meticulous. All of this...comes across to me in this brief clip.

Damn it, it seems like Captain America won't use his acrobatic side in the movie during combat. I'd like for the action coming from him to come off as being innovative and mind blowingly awesome from time to time.

That clip is awesome.........perfectly showcases his speed, shield slinging and strength! IMO the best combat by a superhero on film to date!

Now either these types of combat scenes are rare in First Avenger or Johnston's quote re. how sparingly Cap throws his shield is a ruse.

The way they cut the action, his movements, all so exciting. It's going to be so damn awesome.

EDIT: Also, digging the music. Haven't been keeping up, but the score sounds solid. Cheesy, but the right kind.

The shield absorbs kinetic energy so when it hits things it basically looks like no contact has been made. That's probably what looks weird to you.

Yeah the score sounds in place from what I heard from the previews of Silvestri's score. I don't know if that fight scene was as dynamic as the Thor vs Frost Giant's fight but I do like the low to the ground style
