Discuss Cap Marvel in Avengers 4. She got the call, can she save the day? At least we'll get a taste of exactly how powerful she is in her solo which is due just before Avengers 4, although I'm sure she'll be holding some in reserve to blow Thanos away when the time comes!

Hopefully we get better shots to use from the next trailer. I'm very happy with her look overall though.

She is definitely playing a huge part after getting the call from Fury. I hope the final sequence is a huge team move though.

I would rather even the final kill move is shared by a number of the Avengers rather than just one.

I'm opposite, I want Carol to overshadow BW completely because we've seen more than enough of BW doing the same old boring thing and not enough of Carol since she's new.

And I agree with Iceman, Thanos should be defeated by the team but the killer blow should come from Carol, or maybe Tony, or maybe Cap.

Also, that Carol art is as great as Brie

Too epic and there is at least a fair chance of it happening. Or at least a fair chance that they are in those modes at the same time, even if they don't initiate at the same time.

Why would anyone want Captain Marvel to be the one to kill Thanos? She has no on-screen relationship with Thanos, no relationship with the Avengers, no build-up whatsoever toward being the one to save the day or deal the finishing blow. By the time Avengers 4 comes she will have had a single prequel movie that doesn't seem to have any ties to the Thanos/Infinity Stones plotline (aside from Ronin being in it). Any of the original Avengers (but especially Thor) or Nebula would be far better choices to finish Thanos off.

It's the conclusion to a 10 year 22 film cinematic universe project covering relationships between a huge amount of characters. No need to give excessive importance to any one character when it comes to the final showdown.

It doesn't need to be Thor, or even Nebula, who kills him just because they've been the most affected by his evil. That's not realistic. (nor is a talking tree, I know, before anyone says that).

I'm sure the Captain Marvel movie will provide backstory and ties between Thanos and Carol if Carol is to be the one to deliver the killer blow, if not then that's what the first 2 acts of A4 is for.

Also, not all the original Avengers are worthy to deliver the killer blow because why would Hawkeye, Hulk, or BW? If anything it'll be more poignant if it was from Nebula, Starlord or plot twist - Gamora.
