In hindsight the criticism towards her was exaggerated to say the least. As the character of Captain Marvel in her solo film I found her to be fine/good and if you push aside all of the bs surrounding her public image or certain people’s perception of her then she does a fine job.

Now I think that her outspoken and feisty nature ruffled a lot of feathers and it worked against her to a certain degree.
